YES, YOU WILL END WELL

In everything you will ever do as a practical bible believing Christian, there is every assurance of a successful ending from your Lord and savior Jesus Christ. His words are forever true and none will ever fail when correctly used. Irrespective of your feelings and the circumstances you may find yourself, He had given the assurance to help you when necessary and when needed, He had given the assurance to defend when you are attacked physically and spiritually by known and unknown foes, He had given the assurance to deliver when you fall into divers temptations, make any mistake, and missed opportunities, He had given the assurance to preserve you until you see the day of His glory in your life, and He had given the assurance that you will accomplish all His plans when you believe them, follow them and begin implementing them in your life.

Despite these strong assurances from the one who loves us, we are never promised challenge free success, challenge free tomorrow and besides, there are no challenge free carriers, no challenge free religion, no challenge free desire, no challenge free profession and no challenge relationship. But in all, we are more than conquerors only through Christ Jesus who loves us to the very end.

There are many people today who are waiting until they see a big opportunity before believing in the success, waiting before they have a large sum of money before believing in their business, waiting until they have a big congregation before believing in their calling, waiting until a suitor comes before believing they will be married, waiting until they see the door open before believing in their freedom. But Jesus said blessed are those who do not see but believe.

Ending well does not require a big and elaborate beginning, but a humbled small, consistent and a living faith in the God you have come to accept and follow and your determination to stand with Him till the very end. That was the secret of the restoration of Job. It does not mean you will never be challenged; Job was challenged as every one of us today is challenged in different ways, yet God restored him seven fold. The promise of God for you does not rest on your challenges but on whom and what you believe and follow daily. Remember, God did not bless Job because he had those troubling challenges in his life but because he was determined to wait on God and to remain faithful to the very end.

Job had challenges but ended well. Noah had challenges but ended well. David had challenges and ended well. Abraham, Sarah, Hanna, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Paul and many more had divers troubles and challenges, but those challenges did not prevent them from ending well and did not limit them in their work with God. “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Every man also gave him a piece of money, and every man an earring of gold. And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. He had also seven sons and three daughters.” Job 41:10-13

You may have been denied, disappointed, delayed, displaced and frustrated by the things you see and experience but you will end well. Your wait may have been too long and the enemies and bad words concerning your future are increasing, but you will end well. You may be homeless, jobless, single, sick and weak, but you will end well. Physical strength and knowledge is good, but physical and spiritual determination to remain faithful and consistent in Christ Jesus is better and more rewarding. The conviction of this truth is in the word of God for you that you will end well. We have all the assurances we need in Christ Jesus for what is now before us, and for that which is ahead of us; as we have those challenges, so do we have the overcoming grace. Are you in doubt?
