LORD, I HAVE A QUESTION TO ASK (II)

Christianity is never an automatic ticket to wealth, to joy, to good health, to success and to heaven; it is only the road that leads you even far beyond if you are willing to submissively keep to the path it requires you to take with all obedience. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6. There are many things that God wants you to know, to see, to experience, and to enjoy in this life, but you will never get them unless you are ready to ask questions about them and seek to have and to follow the right answers always. You only reject knowledge by refusing to ask questions about the things hindering your life and your expected success.

Knowledge will definitely give you an advantage over your situations and can lead you to the path of absolute freedom from it and all of its effects. The kinds of knowledge that will change you completely, deliver you from your past ways of inadequacy and place you far above their touch will not just come except you begin asking cogent questions from the right places and receive the right answers.

Through the knowledge of what God had done in time past and what He will do all over again in our time and lives, we came to Him to avoid being destroyed by evil spirit from the pit of hell; we came to Him to avoid being destroyed by our own wrong motives, thoughts and desires; to avoid being a replica of what the evil of our ancestors and to ovoid making the same mistakes our forefathers and parents made in their time.

Asking God a question is never an insult as some people may think; genuinely questioning any situation in your life is not an insult: purposely seeking Godly answers in situations will definitely result in asking genuine questions and God is never angry that you are asking questions and probing to know more. Knowledge is power and receiving correct answers to genuine questions increases knowledge and power to take the next step forward in life.

While God is ready and ever willing to give answers to every question you will ever think of and ask, He is never ready to question you for questioning him. There are many things in this world that will remain as mystery unless we start asking deliberate questions to know them; there are many things in the lives and hearts of believers and none believers that require urgent answers and careful attention daily and the answers will not come if we fail to ask questions; there are several things that will never be resolve in our favor if we completely ignore asking questions about them; and there are things that will consume us if we know them despite our level and years of Christianity if we fail to know them by asking questions.

Question opens the door to increased knowledge, while answers open the doors to receiving the best assurance of what to do next to ensure the much needed and expected success. Knowledge from God is always true and always powerful enough to increase strength beyond the ordinary level, to make one wiser in all things despite the situation, and enables you to exercise excellent and godly result oriented exploits in the kingdom. God reveals hidden secrets when we ask, and enables you to have victory when you act correctly and timely.

Today’s question is ‘How can this be dear lord?’ There are several things that God told you that are yet to be fulfilled despite all that you have done to see them actualize. That was the question Mary asked when she was told of having a son when she knew she was not married. Elizabeth gave her the answer with a personal testimony that there is nothing that God cannot do when we believe. “And blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45.
