"YOU ARE NOT LIKE THEM, YOU ARE DIFFERENT"

Irrespective of how you see yourself, how you feel, where you dwell and how things are with you now compared to what it was before and compared to what you are looking up to in the future, you are not like others, you are different. You may have the same issues to deal with, the same bad experience, speak the same language and live in the same location; you may work in the same place and have the same position and educational experience, yet you are different. God in His love had separated you from others; God in His mercy had forgiven all your past sins and taken away the condemnation that was meant for you; God in His faithfulness had promised to keep you and to always be with you and walk with you; God in His power, knowledge, foresight, and plans had prepared a destiny for you and He will not fail to take you there. What you are going through may be similar to what others are going through but you are different; what you are seeing in your life and around you may be the same as what others are going through but you are different; you may have the same name, from the same village or country, eat the same food and dwell in the same household, but you are different.

The reason for the salvation you have through accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior and the regeneration He gives to you through the working power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and your belief in the Holy Scriptures makes you different from others. You are different in many ways, not because of what you have done or can do or have achieved but in what God had done for you and in you and in what He will do in and for you again. You may cry or laugh as others do in their situations; you may suffer lack of some essential needs as others; you may be seeking for better job, a better home, a better car, as others; you may be having family issues as others, but in all things and by all measurements, you are not like them, you are different. You are a child of the Almighty God, the Everlasting God, the Faithful God and the ever Loving God. His plans for you will be fulfilled. Despite what you see and know now, there is a better future for you in Christ Jesus do not compare yourself with others.

What makes you different is not the language you speak, the wages you earn or the place of your residence; it is the God you know and follow with all of your heart and give all your attention to do His revealed will and purpose; it is the Christ you trust and received strength and assurance from daily. You were saved for s purpose and you are being transformed and renewed daily for His glory and for His honor in always. God will not leave you incomplete, He will not in any way or by any means abandon the good things He had started in your life. He will not by any means be frustrated to give up on you and He will not be discouraged in leading you to the very end with irrespective of the working of the devil against you. You are destined for good.

“All of us who are mature, pursuing spiritual perfection should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude that too God will make clear to you. Only let us stay true to what we have already attained. Brothers and sisters together follow my example and observe those who live by the pattern we gave you. For there are many, of whom I have often told you, and now tell you even with tears, who live as enemies of the cross of Christ, rejecting and opposing His way of salvation, whose fate is destruction, whose god is their belly, their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity, and whose glory is in their shame, who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things. But we are different because our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await the coming of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will not only transform but completely refashion our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.” Philippians 3:15-21.
