I WILL HOLD ON TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD

That was the decision that brought amazing deliverance and respect to Daniel when he was hunted down by his enemies and thrown into the den of lions to be eaten for refusing to do as they were doing, worshiping Pharaoh instead of living God. When his enemies gathered to force him to change the God he worshiped, to change the God he prays to, to change his trust in the power of the living God, to change from following God to following them and their God. As you hold on to the Almighty God in all things, as you hold on to the good and excellent spirit of the Lord, as you hold on to seeking God and worshiping Him rather than man, what happened to Daniel will definitely happen to you.

“Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever. So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will, then you will receive all that he has promised. For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away. But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” Hebrews 10:32-39

As you hold on to the Almighty God, the one who created the entire universe by the power of His words, He will never let you down though you may be tossed, tempted and frustrated, even when you have some nasty some shaking or even fall at some point and time in life. The God you hold on to will ensure you are not destroyed by the shaking and the fall, He will lift you up again on your feet to continue in the things He had previously destined for you to do. Not until you hit the mark of the high calling of God upon your life successfully, He will never stop giving you the grace to aspire and rise, and when you reach the mark, He will give you the grace that will sustain you and the success you have achieved.

As you hold on to the Lord Jesus Christ, the one who brought salvation and redemption from the claws of sin and Satan to the entire humanity through the sacrifice of His body on the cross. He who loved you even when you were still in sin, saved your soul from being destroyed by Satan and is working through the power of His words to preserve your body sinless before Him and your Father in heaven. He will never let you slip back to the sins that causes physical, spiritual and financial bondage, the sins which are offensive, and repulsive which seeks to hinder the kind of sound mind you need to nurture your good desires to life.

As you hold on to the kind of faith that Abraham and other apostles had, the of faith that sets the captives free, ensure justice is secured even in the face of oppression, that God’s promises are fulfilled even when they are delayed, that quench the destructive flames of fire, shuts the mouth of lions, turned weakness into strength, gives strength in battle against the armies of the devil, that restores hope and gives assurance for endless joy in the presence of our Lord, you will never be disappointed and you will never denied what is yours in His presence.

As you hold on to the transforming word of life and truth from above; as you build yourself and your thoughts around these live giving word, as you keep your hope in Jesus Christ as your only Lord and Savior; as you push on with prayers with the desires to seeing better days and doing better things, your time of the fulfillment of your hope will definitely come, that expected change is drawing nearer now than ever before.
