OH MY DEAR LORD, PLEASE SPEAK AGAIN

Post date: Jun 22, 2015 2:28:48 AM

In every situation, God had not kept silent concerning you, concerning your dreams, concerning all of His visions in your heart and on your mind, concerning all of His promises to you when you were small and as you are growing up; He had not kept silent concerning your expectations in and from Him as a living and a believing Christian despite all the delays you have experienced, all the genuine fears of age, the medical reports, the candid words of people, family members, and colleagues to you directly and indirectly, concerning the things you are waiting to see happen and the things you are working to accomplish in life. Age was medically against Sarah but that did not stop God, even when she gave up hope and sort alternative through Hagar, God never gave up His promise of giving her Isaac; never ruled her out of favor with Him and out of His timing and never rule it practically impossible for her to inherit and to manifest the promise she had held unto for years and at a great age of ninety nine, God spoke again through three divine visitors to her house to remain her of His faithfulness in keeping His words. “Then one of them said, I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son. Sarah was listening to this conversation from the tent. Abraham and Sarah were both very old by this time, and Sarah was long past the age of having children. So she laughed silently to herself and said, how could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master my husband is also so old? Then the Lord said to Abraham, why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, can an old woman like me have a baby? Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son” Genesis 18:10-14. Oh my Father in heaven, in the lives of the person believing these words and holding on to you in their expectations, speak again your promises as you did for Sarah and Abraham and confirm your word in their lives in the Name of Jesus Christ.

God will speak again to you to confirm He is still faithful and active in your case even when you have discarded all of the possibilities of fulfilling the promises. Because of the prevailing and unexpected circumstances beyond your control, you may have counted yourself out of contention for the actualization of the dreams, the visions and the desires God lovingly gave to you in your youthful days, but despite these true and real circumstances, God is still counting on you to fulfill the dreams, the vision, and the desires; you may have counted yourself a waste best for the trash bag and the refuge dump, but God is still counting you very valuable to Him and fitted to sit amongst kings and queens at the head of the table and declare His counsel. You already counted yourself to be old to enjoy some excellent comfort, too old to enjoy wealth and riches; too old to have sons and daughters, too old to see your grandchildren because your children are still small, and too sick to enjoy good health and a total restoration; but God is going to speak to you again in that situation to declare that He is absolutely in charge of your life and your future and not your feelings and your disappointments. “Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God’s eyes, careful to obey all of the Lord’s commandments and regulations. They had no children because Elizabeth was unable to conceive, and they were both very old. One day Zechariah was serving God in the Temple, for his order was on duty that week. As was the custom of the priests, he was chosen by lot to enter the sanctuary of the Lord and burn incense. While the incense was being burned, a great crowd stood outside, praying. While Zechariah was in the sanctuary, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the incense altar. Zechariah was shaken and overwhelmed with fear when he saw him. But the angel said, don’t be afraid, Zechariah. God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John. You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.” Luke 1: 6-14. Keep your trust in God active, He will speak again and you will fulfill the words.
