"BUT GOD DID EXACTLY AS HE SAID"

All human beings with flesh are noted for their failed words and failed promises sometimes and somewhere even in their very best of happy times, even with their enormous wealth, even when they are well able to do what they had said and even do more; even when they are in position of authority to do what they had promised, they still fail, but it is not so with the God who loves us, with the God who saved our souls and keeps and defends and deliver and bless us. I want you to know that it is not so with the God we serve. You may have felt disappointed in life and in many other things but it is our God who had disappointed you; you may have experienced many failed promises, many delayed promises, many unfulfilled promises, and unnumbered discouraged situations but none of them is from our God your God; it is not our God who had failed, delayed, disappointed, humiliated, discouraged, disgraced or put you to shame. His duty and commitment is to take you up and out of those things affecting you negatively, things that are not according to His promises, to His words, to His desires, to His divine designs and to His everlasting destiny for your life, and that He will definitely do irrespective of the strength, the location, the authority and the name of your afflictions and the things or people causing you shame and humiliation.

But irrespective of the past, you know, the present you see and the future you do not know, our God will always be faithful to all of His words, all of His promises, all of His desires, all of His plans, all of His will and His entire destiny projection for your life. Through grace in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through the unfailing power in His words and promises, through the transforming and cleansing power in the blood of Jesus Christ and through the salvation He had given to you, I want you to know that your testimony will change; it cannot remain the same because God did not destine you to remain in unfortunate situations indefinitely this will be your new testimony, it will be your word and it will be your comfort henceforth, God had done exactly as He said, as He intended, as He designed and as He destined. The bad words people had been expecting and waiting to hear from you and the deplorable things they had been waiting to see in you will be changed for the best from our heavenly Father. Those waiting to see and celebrate your failure will be surprised; those waiting to celebrate your prolonged loneliness, joblessness, homelessness, and vexation will be surprised because God is changing things.

“Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the entrance of the city gates. Why should we sit here waiting to die? They asked each other. We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway. So at twilight, they set out for the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there. For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians to attack us they cried to one another. So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives. When the men with leprosy arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and hid it. Finally, they said to each other, this is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone. If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace. So they went back to the city and told the gatekeepers what had happened. We went out to the Aramean camp, they said, and no one was there. The horses and donkeys were tethered and the tents were all in order, but there wasn’t a single person around. Then the gatekeepers shouted the news to the people in the palace.” 2 Kings 7:4-11.
