I AM PREPARED FOR BETTER DAYS

Post date: Jun 6, 2016 8:01:50 AM

There are no easy or simple grounds to fulfilling the will of God or being a success the way that God had destined for you; but irrespective of the roughness or difficulties on those grounds and in your life, God’s words, His will, His plans and His purpose will definitely be accomplished as He had said will be. Be prepared always for the very best in all situations irrespective of the odds that you have heard and know are gathered against your success in life. I know people who are always prepared for worst or bad days but are careless about the good days or take it for granted; they are always prepared to fall sick because the doctor told them they have the gene of their sick parents or ancestors or sick family member; they are always prepared because they have been diagnosed with a disease; they are always prepared to be laid off work because they have heard a rumor of downsizing where they work; they are always prepared for the worst because of the predictions and forecast they have heard; they are always prepared to survive, not to overcome and not to defeat the odds; they are always prepared to be stocked in a situation rather than overcome the situation. Their mind is always fixed on the negative despite the level of education and exposure to the reality in the word and promises of the Living for all believers.

These are people who believed and follow Christ Jesus daily, pray daily and read their bible and fast consistently. They participate actively in worship activities, recite the bible, but their overall mind and consistent thoughts are according to their feelings, their own understanding knowledge, what they hear and what they see around them. These are people whose mind are fixed on things that are contrary to what they have read and seen in the scriptures and nothing can change their mindset and visions; these are people who trust in self-efforts and self-help more than they look up to God for help, defends and deliverance. Remember, there is nothing wrong in making self-efforts. The renewal of your mind to reflect the words and promises of God in the scriptures will prepare you for greater things in this present life; will prove the goodness of the God  we serve in your life and will change your situation for the best as time progresses. This is much more than just having and maintaining a positive mindset in life; it is having and always maintaining a godly mindset based on the total truth in the Holy Scriptures, not on feelings, dreams or what you heard from people around you. Remember there will always be bad days, but God can turn that around by His grace, love, and mercies on you.

Your mind and thoughts are important in all preparations in life; when you feed it with what you feel, hear and see around you consistently instead of the words and promises of God, you will manifest the evils of that evil circumstances and time to yourself with time. “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies, dedicating all of yourselves, set apart as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational, logical, intelligent act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world any longer with its superficial values and customs, but be transformed and progressively changed as you mature spiritually by the renewing of your mind, focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes, so that you may prove for yourselves what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect in His plan and purpose for you. For by the grace of God given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself and of his importance and ability than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith and a purpose designed for service. For just as in one physical body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, so we, who are many, are nevertheless just one body in Christ, and individually we are parts one of another mutually dependent on each other.” Romans 12:1-5. God is ready to give you the best of days and the best of times even in ugly situations that had invaded and control your life and situations. Click here for prayer
