“WHY DID CHRIST COME TO THE WORLD?"

Post date: Mar 21, 2016 4:02:10 AM

“So Jesus said again, I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I am the Door for the sheep leading to life. All who came before Me as false messiahs and self-appointed leaders are thieves and robbers, but the true sheep did not hear them. I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved and will live forever, and will go in and out freely, and find pasture, spiritual security. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows.” John 10:7-10

Though Jesus Christ came into the world for all of humanity, He definitely had a clear purpose to fulfill in the lives of every individual who will believe and follow Him faithfully. His coming has a clear purpose in and for your life. He came to lead you to places and ideas where you did not know existed before despite all of your studies and knowledge; to lead you to where you would not have been able to enter or reach or go before because of the activities of those who hate and seek to see you remain a failure; He came to lead you through spiritual and physical barriers in your marriage, family, environment, academics, business, through areas that had been restricted in your life before and finally to lead you to the presence of God the Father Almighty. He came to lead you through all aspects of life into the future that is far better and glorious than what the words of men’s imaginations can and will ever be able to explain.

He came to lead you through the doors of spiritual and physical opportunities and freedom that had been eluding you; to lead you to health and blessings; to lead you to proper relationship with God and man; to lead you to well of living waters; to lead you out from obscurity, ignorance, and fear completely; He came to lead and to show you the way to your dreams and desires; to lead you to the place you were destined for in life. He came to lead you to safety and peace. He came to lead you to eternal life hereafter. He came to lead you to the place you will be pastured, have joy, and true security. He came to lead you into a life that the devil will not be able to destroy despite his delays and deceptions. He came to give you the confidence you need to stand against evil and be a true success. It might be tough, but with Him leading and you following, you can and will make it there.

He came to give us spiritual life and renew our physical life; to give us the ability to enjoy that life in the right and proper way and to have it in abundance; to give life to the spiritually dying men and women who will dare to believe and follow Him. Christ did not come to make any of us good or feel good but to make us Godly individuals acceptable to the Father Almighty in all the things we do and to show that godly goodness in love to all humanity in every nation irrespective of religion, gender, location, wealth, profession and color. In this world, anyone even Satan can be or can claim to be good but not everyone, not even Satan can claim to be godly. It takes the complete presence of God in the life of anyone to be godly, walk, talk and act in godly manners all seasons in his or her lives. Without Christ Jesus dwelling and working in and through you, there is definitely no godliness or godly manners despite efforts by you to be good in your eyes and thoughts and in the eyes of people around the world.

Christ Jesus came to teach us the true knowledge of the Almighty God; our true acceptance of His person shows our acceptance of His teachings; His teaching are aimed at changing lives inwardly and outwardly, changing thoughts, words and actions, affecting lives and relationships in a godly way, conforming to the standards required by the Father Almighty. It takes both the knowledge of God and the acceptance of Jesus Christ to know that we were sinners and needed repentance, forgiveness, help and security. Through the knowledge and the acceptance of Jesus Christ, we can and will make a difference on earth as true Christians. He came so that we may become the sons and daughters of the Almighty God.
