“Your servant killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, for he has defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36. That was David’s statement of courage to King Saul and his fearful armies, and that is what God want of you right. Children of the living God, know it that God did not bring you this far for you to experience any form of failure despite all the difficulties; He did not guide you this far for you to give up so soon despite all the tough things you are experiencing right now; He did not put this good idea in your heart and open the doors for you to pursue these success in the first instant only to use it against you now; He did not bring you this far to suffer a spiritual, physical or mental breakdown, a heart attack, or a psychological meltdown; He did not bring you to this point in life to abandon you to all the things that are seeking to destroy and humiliate you.

God did not bring you to this point in your education for you to abandon it; He did not bring you to this point in your marriage for you to contemplate divorce or separation; He did not bring you to the world to wonder aimlessly, to live in sadness and endless lack: He did not bring you to the world without a gift, without a purpose, and without an idea that can change everything around you for good; He did not bring you to the place you are now and where you are in your business and profession to begin winding down and quitting; He did not give you a spouse, children and family to be the reasons for all of your troubles: He did not wake you up and open your eyes this morning to experience what was not divinely ordained for you. He brought you to this point to give you victory, to enable you to testify of His goodness, to bear witness of His faithfulness and His ability to others; He brought you here so you will rejoice and be celebrated.

If Christ did gave Himself for your sins, He also gave Himself for your justification; if He did gave Himself for your weaknesses, He also gave Himself for your strength; if He gave Himself for your failures, He also gave Himself for your success; If He gave Himself for all your pains, sorrows, sufferings and discouragements in life, He also gave Himself for your healing, recovery and health. There is nothing about you that Christ Jesus did leave behind, nothing that He did not settle for your advantage, and there is nothing good that He had not prepared for you in life. if you have faith in Him, if you did begin in faith, then you will need courage to continue, you will need courage to achieve it, and you will need courage to overcome all obstacles.

Let courage rise up in your heart, Christ Jesus gave Himself for your success, deliverance, peace, healing, joy and celebration. He gave Himself that you be lifted up when you fall, you may stand upright and valued, and that you may go in and out bearing precious seeds for His glory. You must call your courage to question at all times, and in all things, irrespective of your profession and level of faith. Living is all about being courageous daily, and success is about maintaining that courage and elevating the same daily irrespective of your experiences in the things that you are currently doing or had done before. As you live daily, you will always need the courage that will impart your expectations positively; because, there are many situations in the world that wants to impart your life and expectations negatively. Things that seek to overcome you must be brought under your control through courage. God wants you to be all year courageous and to do all that is necessary to maintaining it.

Courage is not just for some heroes, it is not for the very strong and the wealthy in our society alone; it is also for the weak and the poor around the world. It is courage that will change you and change your situation; it is courage that will enable you not to quit and not to hide behind the curtains; it is courage that will put your enemies to flight and open the door for your success. It was courage that enabled David to overcome the lion, bear and subsequently Goliath the giant fighting against Israel. Where is your courage? For prayers, Click here
