“IS GOD REALLY WATCHING OVER ME IN THIS SITUATION?”

Post date: Nov 7, 2017 4:47:56 AM

When Moses was born, God was watching to preserve his life; when he was left by the bank of the river by his parents for fear of what the government will do against them, God was watching; when he got to the house of Pharaoh, God was watching; when he judged between the Israelite and the Egyptian, God was watching; when He ran away and remain in the forest tending sheep for a living, God was watching there over him to keep him alive for His purpose and at the very end of His watching, God saw that Moses never deviated from Him despite his situation, by His power, God brought Moses the kind of help his parents and no one else ever imagine; He spoke to him and used him to liberate His children from bondage and slavery. Whenever or wherever you are deliberately neglected for following the things of God and desiring to being what He said of you, when you are purposely rejected, and when you are shamefully humiliate, and dumped by people because of the fear of what people will say or do to them, know that God is watching over you and He will lift you up and take you to the place that those who rejected and wickedly humiliated you in their ignorance or wickedness will never imagine you to reach and be because of their rejection. “Then the Lord told him, I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey, the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live. Look, the cry of the people of Israel has reached me, and I have seen how harshly the Egyptians abuse them. Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt. But Moses protested to God, who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:7-11. As God was watching over Israel to set them free, He was also watching over Moses to use His for the purpose. There is a purpose God had set for you, and He will watch over you until that purpose is accomplished. While He is watching, no evil will destroy you, the afflictions that had caused your depression will not stop God and will not stop you, not even your loneliness and shame will hinder His plans.

David said in Psalm 27:10 “Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.” Did you know David was insignificant in his family and before his parents? But that same David was the person chosen in that family by God? David testified what he became after God took him despite what his parents did to him, he said in Psalms 78:70-72 and 40:1-5 “He chose his servant David, calling him from the sheep pens. He took David from tending the ewes and lambs and made him the shepherd of Jacob’s descendants, God’s own people, Israel. He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands. I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal, if I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.” Most often, feelings are deceptive; situations and what we experience may be contrary to what we expect as followers of Jesus Christ; but do not be deceived by those feelings, don’t allow those experiences make you think contrary to what God said concerning you; do not allow the situations and what you will ever experience destroy your faith and your confidence in God. God is watching over you for good even in that situation and in that location. For Prayers, Click here
