Samuel told Saul clearly after the anointing, “When these signs come to you, do for yourself whatever the situation requires, for God is with you.” 1 Samuel 10:7. You will have to according to what God says and demands, not according to your own thinking or understanding or as the situation demands. John said the anointing will teach you what to do; “As for you, the anointing, the special gift, the preparation which you received from Him remains permanently in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, you must remain in Him being rooted in Him, knit to Him.” 1 John 2:27. The anointing will teach and also demand you abide by the teaching as will be directed by the Holy Spirit. The reason for the teaching is to fulfill the reason for which you are being anointed. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27. Depending on the teaching of the anointing which will be according to the writing is the scriptures will do tremendous things in your life and that of other and you will never fail to see the amazing result.

The anointing will not demand anything outside the will of God for your life and your future in His plans and program; the anointing will not demand anything that will disqualify you before God even when men thinks otherwise about you, against you, and against your actions. Joshua was asked to be bold, dependable, and strong and to keep to the teachings in the written word of God, never to deviate from it in any way despite the pressure that will come thereafter and the confrontations that will follow even from close friends and leaders among the children of Israel. The word of God had been tested and proven true and dependable in the past, that is what the anointing will prove in your life and case in our time; the anointing break yokes of resistance and failures, yokes of intimidations and insults, yokes of humiliation and shame, yokes of spiritual and physical irrelevance and backwardness, and yokes of stagnation and failures.

The anointing will definitely demand you keep away from sin and from sinning; sin, irrespective of its size and nature and the understanding and acceptance of all people is an impediment to your spiritual growth and divine blessings from heaven; sin will harm you in all ways spiritually and physically, it will close the doors of God’s favor against you consistently, it will disturb your life beyond your imaginations and understanding, it will give you guilt as a companion instead of the spirit of praise; it will make you a fugitive even in your comfort zone; it will always keep you fearful of the unknown; it will make you live and remain in the world of false hope despite speaking faith and trusting God for His blessings. It will disgrace and condemn you even before the people who had respected you before and it will keep you in whatever bondage it had created. The anointing you need from heaven hates sin; hates sinful thoughts, sinful ideas, and deliberate actions that encourages or promotes sin. The anointing demands voluntary purity to the best of your ability based on the words of God and not your own imaginations or the understanding and acceptance of men; it demands you keep yourself unspotted by the many enticing works, words, and workers and offers of impurity. It will demand you keep away from sinful relationships and associates that do not promote godliness and the habits that cause spiritual weaknesses and failures. “Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.” Romans 1:28-32. For prayers Click here
