THE PRICE WE PAY FOR LACKING WISDOM

Post date: Sep 29, 2017 3:49:03 AM

The price we pay for ignorance is far less than what we pay for lacking God’s wisdom in all aspects of living. Wisdom is what we need in life and in living, wisdom is the glory power, knowledge and understanding of God’s nature living in and with us and giving us directives and directions and leading us through issues that God in His love and mercy and faithfulness had planned for our ultimate success while living on this earth. Ignorance is costly but we can ignore the cost, but the lack of wisdom is so expensive to everything about our lives that we cannot afford to ignore its cost and the subsequent effect that will follow after. The lack of divine wisdom is very destructive to everyone in everything irrespective of age, education, wealth, location, and gender; it will definitely destroy all of your good intentions, all your good dreams, all your good desires, all your good projects, all your good aspirations and all of the good efforts that you will ever make to progress beyond where you are in life. While ignorance destroys what is physical in our lives, the lack of wisdom destroys us physically and spiritually at the same rate.

The lack of wisdom will destroy the power and anointing of God upon your life and will end up destroying you and taking you out of the blessings of the anointing; it will destroy your plans now and in the future irrespective of your religion and the office you occupy; it will destroy your ability and confidence in yourself and of people around you; it will destroy your resources and your ability to manage people, manage situations and manage ideas the comes to you or the ones given to you by people; it will destroy you strength in times of trouble and temptation to stand up for what is true and right; it will destroy your desires to live your life for God in all ways; it will rob you of God’s grace that is very necessary to take you to the next level of  glory; it will take you in the wrong ways of acting and reacting on issues and it will destroy your commitments to your family, friends, and colleagues. The lack of wisdom will destroy your marriage and family; destroy your chances of getting married or engaged; destroy your chances of having a happy home and family; destroy your chances of maintaining good relationship with your colleagues and friends; destroy your chances of receiving favor from men; destroy your chances of a job offer, a raise or a promotion. It may be the reason for the frustrations you are having; it can take you on opposite side of your best intents and dreams; it can reverse your success and the progress that you have already made. It can destroy wealth and your finances. It can destroy a nation, an institution and the foundations of our fathers and it can destroy your health and the best of your labor and attempts at success.

What we gain for having divine wisdom is far more than we can say with words and what we lost in not having divine wisdom is beyond our imagination and comprehension but it is certain, God does not want us to continue in the losing game while seeking to fulfill the destiny He had set for us before we were born. God wants us to have the wisdom that will be very relevant in supporting every aspect of our living. We need the wisdom to support our work else we lose it; we need the wisdom to maintain relationship else we lose it; we need the wisdom to be fruitful as Christians else we remain fruitless; we need the wisdom to remain in good health; we need the wisdom to keep our marriages and homes and family in peace; we needed the wisdom to work with people and to deal with issues, and the scriptures advises: “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.” Proverbs 4:5-9. We have been had many pains and regrets; with wisdom, we will not be left in our regrets again. For Prayers, Click here
