DEAR LORD, I NEED TOTAL VICTORY

God can, God is and God will give you as you have desired. He had seen the battle, the struggles, the pains, the tears, the heartbreak, the humiliations, the sleepless nights, the discouragement, the shame, the abuse, the waiting, the prayers, your consistency, your supplication, your vigils, your efforts at encouraging yourself in this discouraging world with discouraging friends, colleagues and family members, and He had set His date for your victory and that date will not be shifted any further and you will not be forgotten again in the hands of the devil to continue an endless and shameful and humiliating battles against your well-being and the things God had promised you in this very life.     

Your victory had been pronounced by our Lord Jesus Christ who in His love had saved your soul from the repercussions of all past and present sin and the destruction desired by the devil against your life, who gave you salvation through grace when you believed in Him, confessed your sins and faults to Him, follow Him faithfully daily and obey Him and His commandments diligently. Your victory is important not only to you and your family, it is very important to our Lord Jesus Christ, it is important to the entire body of Christ, the church in the whole world, it is important to the brethren in your local church, it is important to your neighborhood, it is important to you nation and it is very important to me. I love to see, hear and celebrate your victory.

Your victory had long been negotiated and fully paid for by Christ Jesus submitting Himself to be crucified on the cross, spilling His blood on that cross as the ransom for your sins and victory, pronouncing you free and lovable and able to live free, have joy and be celebrated. “Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ, just as in His love He chose us in Christ, actually selected us for Himself as His own before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy, that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will to the praise of His glorious grace and favor, which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved, His Son, Jesus Christ. In Him we have redemption, that is, our deliverance and salvation through His blood, which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and understanding with practical insight He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, with regard to the fulfillment of the times, that is, the end of history, the climax of the ages to bring all things together in Christ, both things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have received an inheritance, a destiny we were claimed by God as His own, having been predestined, chosen, appointed beforehand according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will.” Ephesians 1:3-11

Lot had victory despite dwelling in the land of immoralities; surrounded by immoral men and women; the young and the old engaging in same immoral acts and exhibiting characters that are quite contrary to the words and desires of God for humanity. He was delivered by angels at the command of the Almighty God. That same God can send angels to secure your victory tonight and now. Noah was not disappointed after spending days and years preaching righteousness and seeking and struggling without success to turn men away from evil, at the end, God sent flood and Noah and his family was saved. That same God can and will also give you victory in the things fighting you and the ones you are fighting.
