“I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to  be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”

Psalm 121:1-8. Be assured that we have the Almighty God on our side, we have Him with us, for us, and by us; He will lead, He will defend, He will guide, He will deliver, He will bless, no one shall fail in His presence, no one shall fall, no one shall be condemned, and no one shall fail to see and have comfort. He is the one we call, the one we trust and the one we depend on and look to for safety, for protection, for guidance, and He will in no way fail us, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is in control and He will take us through.

Because Christians have Christ Jesus as Lord over their lives, they, we have the boldness to pray in His name, have the boldness through His shed blood at Calvary to approach the throne of His Holiness to receive mercy, grace, guidance, and peace in times of need. In times of uncertainties, Christians pray and call on their God; in times of peace, Christians pray and call on their God; in times of confusion, Christians pray, and call on their God; in times of joy, Christians pray and call on their God; and God at all times answers and show and give them great and mighty things they did not know, or see, or ask for so His name will be glorified in them and on earth. As He blesses, delivers and uphold His people in times past and at all times, this time also, God will answer us, He will deliver us, give us direction and He will uphold us in His loving care.

There are fears everywhere but God is not fearful, lives are changing fast but God remains the same and is words remain the same, situations changing, and circumstances are changes, but in all these things, God still remains the same -- The God who answers prayers.

This was the prayer for help and the expression of confidence in the power of the Almighty God by Jehoshaphat the King and the people of Israel when they were attacked and fine themselves helpless and incapable in handling the situation. “Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord in front of the new courtyard, and said, O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, there is no one able to take a stand against You. O our God, did You not drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Your friend Abraham? They have lived in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your Name, saying, if evil comes on us, or the sword of judgment, or plague, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You, for Your Name and Your Presence is in this house and we will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear and save us. Now behold, the sons of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom You would not allow Israel to invade when they came from the land of Egypt for they turned away from them and did not destroy them, here they are, rewarding us by coming to drive us out of Your possession which You have given us as an inheritance. O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless against this great multitude which is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You. So all Judah stood before the Lord, with their infants, their wives, and their children.” 2 Chronicles 20:5-13

God did hear their prayers, God did answer their prayers, God did fight for them and defeat their enemies, God did deliver them from their fears, and God did give the joy and blessings thereafter and I am sure He will also answer us. For prayers, Click here
