Just like every other man or woman everywhere in the world desiring to start having a children at an appropriate age, finding a God fearing, respectful, good looking and very acceptable spouse is a very good news; getting married to that person is even better news, and having living children thereafter is the best thing to happen in that union for you to tell the world. Everyone desires a blessing in every marriage and everyone desires that blessing with ease.

But sometimes that blessing is delayed, prolonged or may not come with ease as expected; when such happens, many will give various reasons, many will be confused, many will think otherwise about God and will do what they should never do as Christians. But if it happens, know that God is never going to use that to disgrace you, He is not going to use that as His yardstick in to deny you as His child; He is not going to use that in measuring your other blessings, and will not allow such delays to stop His other plans for your life. This is so because there is nothing the Almighty God does not know about your life and there is nothing He does not have the power to enforce a change, correct and make well. Even when He does not give you the reasons for the delay, He knows what to do and will definitely do it at the right time and in the right place for you.

Hannah went into married with a great joy and hope of becoming a mother soon enjoying all the close mother and child fellowship she needed, but contrary to her expectations, God allowed her to experience a delay; that delay would have destroyed her life through various thoughts and all what the children of the other woman was doing to her daily. That delay brought her much pains and anxiety, but despite that, she ended well and everything about her were fully restored and made permanently good for ever. Hannah had problem conceiving, but it was not because she made a mistake; she had difficulties relating with her husband’s second wife not because she made any mistake; but at the end, she was blessed beyond her thoughts and imagination.

“Then Hannah prayed and said: My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high.

My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away. The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails; those who oppose the Lord will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:1-10

Hannah cried after an unexpected long delay in conception; she received emotional breakdowns from a continuous insults from the second wife and her children; she deliberate starved herself of food; she was thought to be drunk in the house of God; but the day she went to the house of God with her heart fully emptied before God, and left with an assurance, God visited her, wiped away tears away permanently, and gave an amazing son called Samuel and six others; despite all her pains and cries, she ended joyfully well with a live changing testimony, you will God enable you to end well and with a an amazing testimony.
