HIS HANDS, A PERFECT PLACE

Post date: Nov 2, 2012 4:51:10 AM

God did not just make Adam and Eve and throw them into the world to survive by their strength and thinking and to make a decent living. As He did to them then, so is He doing for us today. There is a very perfect place for your life today, a place of absolute comfort and peace that the world and all its material and financial bliss cannot provide, a place that you were destined to be so you can fulfill His dreams in the best atmosphere He purposed for you. Considering what is going on in the world today, some people have concluded that there is no hiding place for any one. People are busy everyday looking for, and asking for a better place to reside, a better place to visit, a better place to work, a better place to retire to, a better place to do business, a better place to live happily with their family, and a better place to raise their children.

Did you know that every government in every nation is tasked with the responsibility of providing this better place? This everyday concern of people with regards to doing what they intend to do in life peacefully and in a better way is genuine, but the question on the lips of everyone today is, where can we find this better place? Are our government and our leaders, political and spiritual, able to provide and guarantee this place?

While the answer seems elusive, we can rest our comfort in one thing, though our government is as confused as we are, our God is not confused and will never deny us this place. He had given us the assurance that everyone who believes in Christ Jesus, there is surely a better and perfect place for such individual. On your own, the search will never be attainable, but then with God all things are possible the bible assures. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

This is what God did to Adam and Eve; “And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired, good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.” Genesis 2:8-9. God planted the Garden, and God placed them in the garden He had made.

Where He placed Adam and Eve, on the East side of the garden, was the most perfect place for them. He did not allow them to wonder around seeking a place for themselves or seeking what to do. In that place was the very best of all things, a place that had no lack to the spirit, to the body and to the soul. A place that God will meet them and they will meet God, a place that God can speak to their hearing and they also speak to God’s hearing. A place filled with gold and all precious things that man will ever desire in life. It was a place of peace and thanksgiving. Though God made the whole world, He decided to give them only the east side of the garden. We can find this place today, if we decide to dwell in the hollows of his hands. “Behold, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd: He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry them in His bosom and will gently lead those that have their young. Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, marked off the heavens with a [nine-inch] span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, that instruction might be given Him? Who taught Him the path of justice and taught Him knowledge and showed Him the way of understanding?” Isaiah 40:10-14. That is the God we serve today and that same God is who you serve today.
