DEAR LORD, PLEASE BLESS ME

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers. In fact, I greatly rejoiced when some of the brethren from time to time arrived and spoke so highly of the sincerity and fidelity of your life, as indeed you do live in the Truth the whole Gospel presents. I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my spiritual children are living their lives in the Truth. Beloved, it is a fine and faithful work that you are doing when you give any service to the Christian brethren, and especially when they are strangers.” 3 John 2-5

In the above passage, it is revealed that now, and in every season, it is God’s express desire to bless you and to keep you blessed in all occasions, in all situations, and in all locations you will ever fine yourself being engaged in anything that glorifies His name which is in accordance with His will and plans for your life irrespective of the prevailing circumstances in that location. It is not your situation and circumstance that predicts your blessings in life, it is the Almighty God alone who does predict your blessings and He will never make any mistake in doing that.

It is never God’s will and plans to bless anyone accidentally; it is never God’s will and plans to refuse to bless anyone, and it is never His will and plans to keep you begging for anything at any age and moment in your life. God will never bless anyone accidentally; His blessings are always purposeful and designed to address any issue that will thereafter reflect His glory in the lives of its beneficiary appropriately to the world. Did you know that the unbelieving world is very eager to hear, to see and to feel the blessings of God upon your life?

Remember that Jacob was blessed by his father Abraham, but the night he wrestled with the angel, he asked God to bless him. He did not ask for the blessing before the wrestling but after, so irrespective of who and what you may be, irrespective of your past and present achievements, irrespective of your location and profession, irrespective of your age and gender, irrespective of your wealth or lack, you will definitely need the blessings of God to excel beyond what and who you are right now in life. The blessing of God adds no sorrows, but relieves sorrows while making you rich in Him and in material things.

The blessings of God upon your life does not depend on what you know about your situation, it does not depend on what you hear from anyone about your situation, and on what you may accidentally or purposely say of yourself due to the pressure of frustration and experience; it is completely dependent on what you do with all the good and bad things that you have seen and heard about yourself, and about your situation, what you do when you are exposed to any kind of situation in life matters a lot to the blessing you will ever receive from God, and remember, there is no situation that is permanent when God steps in.

God did not deny Jacob when he asked to be blessed despite being blessed by his father, and He will not deny you when you also ask. As He did not deny others, be assured that He will not deny you. He does not, and will never turn down any genuine request from any of His children who will ever genuinely seek to glorify Him in his or her request. “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be open unto you.” Matthew 7:7

God’s blessings in your life is never accidental in anyway, they are not misguided, they are designed purposeful to fulfill His will and plans for your life. Have you asked in hope and in faith? Have you been consistent in asking and patient in waiting? Have you been in constant expectations despite the delays and the frustrations, or have you just given up because of the delays? Our Father in heaven is waiting for you to call, to ask, to seek, and to knock; He has promised to respond accordingly and to supply your needs. Why not forget the past and take up this opportunity and ask for blessing again? He can do it, and He will answer. Prayers Click here
