You should not, will not, and must not serve God without a living testimony to show those who will or may ask you questions concerning your faith in Christ Jesus, your belief in His promise and your fellowship with Him. God is confirming His words in ways that are amazing, He is fulfilling promises, raising up the poor from poverty, meetings needs of those forgotten, rejected, or abandoned; He is establishing men on solid foundations, changing situations, circumstances and taking away all shame. He is defending His own when they are abused and mistreated; He is fighting their battles and giving them amazing victories; He is setting free the captives, restoring what had been forcefully taken or destroyed. He is responding to the cries and the needs of men around the world, and He will respond to your own. David did not ask to be a king but God made him one and thereafter David asked for the very best and God gave him what He asked for. That same God is ready to do for you what He did for David.

He gave David a foundation that never fails; a foundation that children enjoyed, a foundation that stands the test of time and never succumb to afflictions and the wickedness of men forever, a foundation that brought Christ Jesus our Lord into the world, a foundation that brought you and I to the faith we have now. David said: “I look to the mountains; where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you fall; your protector is always awake. The protector of Israel never dozes or sleeps. The Lord will guard you; He is by your side to protect you. The sun will not hurt you during the day, nor the moon during the night. The Lord will protect you from all danger; He will keep you safe. He will protect you as you come and go now and forever.” Psalm 121:1-8. The Lord God Almighty is watching over you for good; He is watching to reward you not to punish you, He is watching to bring you out of the darkness, the chains of afflictions that the devil had placed in your life, to take you out of shame and the humiliations of shame, out of the past mistakes that had haunted and affected your life and your progress so badly; He is watching and He will stop the failures, the disappointments, the discouragements and the powers that draw and keep you back from being what He had said, designed and destined. He did marvelous things to David, to Jabaz, to Moses, to Joseph, to Peter, and to Paul, He will do yours also.

David used these words to describe what God for him; he said 1. God lifted me up; that was when he was abandoned in the forest with the sheeps God saw him, visited him and took him out forever. 2. God did not let my enemies rejoice over me; that means even his family never gave him a chance that he will be anything else in life and where waiting to see that come true but God did not allow that to happen. 3. God help me; there are things in life that you will need help for, but the help of men are always and never sufficient; when God helps you, He will take you far and beyond the needs and He will keep you until you are firmly established. 4. You have healed me; the goodwill of God will definitely result in total healing, there is no place that we read that David was sick but he said God healed him. Healing is not only when we are sick; God wants to heal our soul, our thoughts, our works and words, families and the grumblings and cries in our hearts that no one sees or hears. 5. You brought my life up from the place of the dead; by the enemies plan, David was scheduled to die slowly in the forest through isolation, rejection, and abandonment, but God took him out of their plans. 6. You have kept me alive so that I would not go down to the grave. Remember the lions, the bears and wild animals attacked David in the forest, yet God kept him alive so he will witness His blessing, His promotion, His acts of mercies and His acts of grace upon his life. God is keeping alive for a reason, He will not fail, that reason will be fulfilled, you will experience it, the enemies will see it in you and will not be able to do anything thereafter as it was with David.
