YOUR MERCY AND YOUR GRACE OH LORD

Mercy and grace is God’s thoughts and plans for you every day irrespective of your name, age, location, profession, situation, race, and gender. He wants you to see and enjoy His mercy and He wants you to be elevated by His grace. “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. I have heard all about you, Lord. I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy.” Hebrews 4:16; Habakkuk 3:2. The total working of God’s mercy and God’s grace will definitely change you and change your life; they will definitely change all of your situations, they will take you up and keep you up; they will bring you out from every failure, out from every stagnation, out from every loneliness caused by insults and abandonment, out from every difficulty caused by any situation in any location, out from every form of sorrow and self-pity, and out from anything else that the devil had done, is doing in, and against your life. They will liberate you from the consequences of past mistakes and sins, and they will open doors that had been closed or are difficult for you to pass through despite knowing and having what it takes to open and pass through them. You have been watching others, it is time for others to watch you being blessed.

Transforming mercy and elevating grace are from God alone, and while He is willing and able to show mercy to the world at all times, He is also willing and able to give grace to everyone who  will dare to believe, trust, obey, follow, depend, and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is evident that God’s mercy will definitely bring transformation and changes, it will surely take away curses and pains, it will preserve lives, brings opportunities, heal our bodies and lands, but we should not forget that the greatest benefit we have in His mercy is the salvation of our souls which transforms us from sinners to saints, from being instruments of Satan to being the instrument of God, instruments of His Holiness, and instruments of His righteousness. When God’s mercy is working in you, the past and all its consequences has no effect on you anymore and cannot hinder your future destiny according to His plan and purposes.

When it comes to working with God as true believers, remaining in faith and faithful to His words, being obedient, undistracted, and unafraid, do not think you are strong or smart enough by your power, knowledge or wealth, it is all by God’s mercy and by His grace. Mercy is God not giving us what we deserve or treating us according to any of our sins, weaknesses, thoughts or actions. While grace is God giving us something we do not even deserve despite our sins and weakness and actions, just because we are His through Jesus Christ by the salvation of our souls. Remember, God will never gives us what we cannot handle. He will nor give us anything and fold His hands and watch those things destroy us, He will help us and will do it swiftly.

God’s mercy acts to withhold or abolish our deserved punishment; God’s mercy has everything to do with His love, His kindness, and His compassion towards us. Mercy is the kindness and compassion shown to the one who offends irrespective of the offends. Grace is the endowment of unmerited favor to the weak and the poor and those who are ignorant but willing to submit to the power of God through Jesus Christ. Grace is His abiding presence which enables us to stand up again and be relevant after condemnation and rejection. “So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us His true word. And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession.” James 1:16-19. So do not be misled, God will grant you mercy and grace, He will do it for His name's sake and the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. For prayers, Click here
