"DEAR FATHER, THIS SHOULD NOT LAST FOREVER"

“For I am ready to set things right, not in the distant future, but right now. I am ready to save Jerusalem and show my glory to Israel.” Isaiah 46:13. Despite your thoughts, fears, doubts, feelings, disappointments, delays, denials, current and or previous experiences, your day of redemption and joy will definitely come. Disappointments of any kind, sadness, sorrow, pains, loneliness, lack and anger were not designed to last forever and they should not last forever in your life. By God’s grace and power, you will overcome them and you will reach the goal of God for your life. Your date with freedom, joy, and celebration is closer and very certain. The children of Israel did not all end up in the wilderness, through God’s help, they went through it, you will go through yours by His power. Through God’s provisions, they survived, you will survive yours; through God’s strength they had victory over all enemies, you will have yours. Irrespective of the nature and level of your disappointment and delays as a true Christian, they are all temporal, you were destined to fulfill a purpose and inherit a coming blessing in Christ.

Never forget that God will always lead His children irrespective of their afflictions, professions, gender, and location. Never forget that He abides with His own forever; that despite what had or will happen, God has your best interest at heart and will act accordingly. He will never gamble over your success and destiny. He will never lead you on the wrong path; He will never abandon you despite the obstacles and the foes waiting to destroy you. He had given you His word, walk in it with continuous obedience. The wilderness was not a place of residence for the children of Israel but a route to pass through and you will pass through in Jesus name. Though things may be tough and rough but God is still alive and able to take you to the place He had destined; though you are confused by His timing, He will ensure you are safe untill the day of His revealed glory in your life; though things are hard and difficult now but God will give you a breakthrough soon; though humiliated and sad by current events, God is still active in your life and He will exalt you above all of them; though you are shameful but God will replace the shame on the day of your recognition. The road may be rough and winding, difficult and painful each day and each year to walk through, but God is still alive and active, He will take you through. Though things may not go the way you dream, think and desire, yet God is not asleep in the things that concern you, He will lead you, He will open your eyes to see His glory at the right destination in the right time.

“Listen to Me, says the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, you who have been carried by Me from your birth and have been carried in My arms from the womb, even to your old age I am He, and even to your advanced old age I will carry you. I have made you, and I will carry you; be assured I will carry you and I will save you. To whom would you liken Me and make Me equal and compare Me, that we may be alike? Those who lavish gold from the bag and weigh out silver on the scales, hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; they bow down, indeed they worship it. They lift it on their shoulders in religious processions or into battle and carry it; they set it in its place and there it remains standing. It cannot move from its place. Even if one cries to it for help, the idol cannot answer; it cannot save him from his distress. Remember this, and take courage; take it to heart, you rebellious and disloyal people. Remember carefully the former things which I did from ages past; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things which have not yet been done, saying, My purpose will be established, and I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose, calling a bird of prey from the east, from a far country, the man Cyrus of My purpose. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, be assured I will do it.” Isaiah 46:4-11. Click here for prayer request.
