WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT THE ANOINTING (3)

Apostle Paul said anointing has something to do with healing; something to do with praying, effectiveness, something to do with our relationship; something to do with the results we have and the ones we expect, and anointing has a place in the church of the living God then and now and forever. When you ignore the anointing, the power it carries or plays down its effectiveness and usefulness, you will be robbing yourself and the church and the body of Christ of a reliable spiritual companionship for effectiveness and deprive the people of what God wants them to be as believers and followers. When you ignore the anointing of God in your life, you will suffer the consequences of your actions by the results you will have and what you will experience in your own personal life practically thereafter. When you ignore the anointed that God had placed on your ways and life for any reason, you will miss the good results God intended for you through that anointed person. Remember, on every occasion and in every situation God has a purpose and has a plan to benefit you and keep you in the loop of His blessings. Living under His anointing, you will experience the fullness of the power of the Holy Spirit and also flourish through the effectiveness of the gift of the Holy Spirit of God.

James said: “Is anyone among you suffering? He must pray. Is anyone joyful? He is to sing praises to God. Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders, spiritual leaders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, your false steps, your offenses, and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much when put into action and made effective by God, it is dynamic and can have tremendous power.” James 5:13-16

Paul: The anointing turns disciples into Apostle, confirms the apostleship and enables the result of the apostolic ministry and exalts Christ Jesus among them. If anointing cannot or will not change you for the best after believing God, following Him, trusting Him and obeying Him after your salvation, then there is more you will have to do with yourself and your level of obedience and sincerity in following Christ Jesus. “Now it is God who establishes and confirms us in joint fellowship with you in Christ, and who has anointed us empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit; it is He who has also put His seal on us that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His and has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a pledge like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life.” 2 Corinthians 1:21-22. The things that anointing from heaven will do is to quicken your physical and spiritual call to conform to what had God said and planned for your life; it helps you to be established quick, it helps you receive a quick confirmation and approval through the results that will come after; anointing empowers us with the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and makes us efficient in and through them; anointing certifies us as Children of the God in the things of God by distinguishing us from all others in the world. It gives us security and guarantees the fulfillment of His promises of God in our lives and through us to others. Did you know they are people and issues waiting for the confirmation and the manifestation of the anointing of God from heaven upon your life before they will change? Anointing changes stories, changes people, changes history, changes situations and confirms the sweet manifestation of God’s grace and power. Have submitted yourself for the anointing from God? Have you sought for the anointing with all your heart in obedience and fellowship? “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keep asking receives, and he who keep seeking finds, and to him who keeps knocking, it will be opened.” Matthews 7:7-8. For prayers Click here
