GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE OH LORD

Post date: Aug 27, 2013 4:01:35 AM

Who on earth or anywhere else is like unto your God in all things? Who is as merciful, who is as holy and yet very powerful and ever willing? Another chance for you is quite possible, you can have it, you will have it, and God will give it to you. “But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant, save me, because I serve you just as my mother did. Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me” Psalm 86:15-17

God is not only going to give you a second chance, He is giving you another chance, a third, a fourth and several other chances, and with His grace, you will make it this time around. If this is your sincere desire and your sincere request, then God will make it happen, He will not deny you despite the odds you are facing in getting it back. God does not separate Himself from us when we fail but we separate ourselves from Him when we fail. Failure does not prove lack of ability or knowledge; it only proves your lack of proper preparation, unwillingness, inconsistency, and the fear of failing again when we repeat the same thing. The only thing that overcomes failure in the life of any man is the willingness to obey God in everything without looking back, follow His words despite the shame, and committing yourselves to wait on the promise till God shows up; when you do this, I know He will surely show up in your case

Many of us have turned back from pursuing our dreams and visions after just one attempt, just one failure, one disappointment or one denial. Many have given up in a few days just because things did not work out at their own scheduled time and plans. Many have taken a silent vow never to repeat, never to go back, and never to revisit their failed dreams and visions. Many have decided never to return to the place of first disappointment irrespective of the renewed prospect of its success the second time around. Many also have resolved never to forgive even themselves talk less of others in what they have called their first and worst disappointment in life. Let me write this to you with all assurance, with all your disappointments combined, it will never be as powerful as one of the success that God will give you in Christ Jesus. Disappointment will never distinguish you before anyone, but the success that you will have even in just one dream despite several attempts will distinguish you in several ways, in several years.

Never give up trusting God because of yesterday’s disappointments or today’s hardship. Your tomorrow will never be defined and remembered by your failures or disappointments. It will be defined and remembered by the success you make today, be determined and strong, God will not abandon you because you failed, you blew up the first chance you had or that which He gave to you, He is willing to give you another chance so that you can have a success. He is willing to make people remember you for your success rather than your failures and numerous mistakes in life. Hold on to Him by faith and with a sincere trust.

Through anger, Moses destroyed the first Ten Commandment; unlike most people, God did not forsake. With the assurance he wrote, “At that time the Lord said to me, Hew two tables of stone like the first and come up to Me on the mountain and make an ark of wood. And I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark. So I Moses made an ark of acacia wood and hewed two tables of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tables of stone in my one hand. And the Lord wrote on the tables as at the first writing, the Ten Commandments which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me. And I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they are, as the Lord commanded me.” Deuteronomy 10:1-5. For prayers Click here
