JOYFUL SONG IN THIS SITUATION?

Yes! That was exactly what God asked for in that very situation. What do you think will ever exist on earth that your heavenly father does not see and does not know long before it comes into physical existence? Who does He not see and who, rich and poor, does He not know irrespective of their location, their race, their color and their language? Where is it on earth that your God does not actually exist, and what locations on earth can you hide that He cannot find you out for good? What existing situation is there that is definitely too hard, too difficult and completely impossible for Him to eliminate, to deliver from, to eradicate, to heal and to change. There is no language, no race, and no location that your God cannot reach out with His mercies, with His love, with His goodness and with His mighty hand of deliverance.

Could you imagine God saying to a troubled woman, even when her problem was still bothering her and taking a toll on her in every way, saying, break into a loud and joyful song? That was contrary to her expectation, but God knows exactly what was needed to take her out from her problems to the next level in her life. Irrespective of the compelling pressure of the situation, and the number of years and the people behind the pressure and the situation, God knows exactly what you need to do to get you out, set you free and delivered from it. He knows what you need to do to get to where you should be next right now.

It is good to note that God will never make a mistake in giving you instructions that will bring you out of trouble and into His fullness despite your expectations and imaginations of how and what that instruction will be. God’s instructions will never be limited to your own imagination of how and when things should be done. It will always be according to God’s words in that situation, His time, His absolute will, and plans for your life. God will always go above and beyond your imaginations, your knowledge and your wisdom to perfect His ways in your life.

This woman was in need, but God told her; “Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth. Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband, says the Lord. Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense. For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities. Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood. For your Creator will be your husband; the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name. He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth. For the Lord has called you back from your grief, as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband, says your God. For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back. In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken, says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah 54:1-10

This woman never had a child, never conceived, and never had labor pain, but even in her needs, God said to her, break into a joyful song, enlarge your house, spread out your home, spare no expense, fear not, there is no more disgrace. Would you rather joyfully sing rather than mourn? With obedience, God will definitely do a new thing. For prayers Click here
