“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.” Joel 2:23-32

All the promises of God are good, they are great, very important, transforming lives and affecting situations positively, they are excellent to desire and very possible to claim, they are guaranteed to be a blessing to everyone who truly desires and makes personal preparations to have them. They are God’s breath, God’s plan and God’s pending action that will never fail or diminish with the passing of time and age. When God says it, He will not change it, the devil cannot change it and it is guaranteed that God will definitely do whatever He had said. “Let us, therefore, strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:11-13

The story of Job, about Job, his early wealth and prosperity, the destruction of that his wealth, his subsequent poverty, homelessness, sickness, loneliness, rejection by family and friends and his subsequent healing and restoration is true and real. Job did not and could not restore himself but God made a way for him to be fully restored. There are many things that knowledge, wisdom, ability, success, prosperity, and human assistance cannot provide or restore even being at its very best, but there is nothing good that had been taken from the children of God that cannot and will not be restored by God and this month, God will begin making ways for your total restoration by the effective working of His power and by the fullness of His grace upon your life. Job knew he was very wealthy before, very healthy before, had loving active children and good family before; he knew he had good friends before and was well accepted in the society and neighborhood before but when Satan took his wealth and children away, no one cared about Job again; his immediate family, closed friends and business associates despised him, the society despised and rejected, men and even children mocked him and even accused him of things he never did, yet in all of these things in Job’s life, God made a way for him to be fully restored and even be better than he ever was before. That is what God will do in your case and situation. When God said He will restore, I believe He will; when recovery and restoration seem impossible in the understanding of men, I know God will make a way for all of His words and promises to be fulfilled, and from this month, God will make a way for your full restoration.
