OH GOD OF MOSES, PLEASE ARISE

Before Moses was ever conceived in his mother’s womb, God had a plan He was definitely sure will succeed and was working to ensure its implementation, and before Pharaoh was born, God had destined he will fail in his battle to stop Moses from being what God had destined him to be. Before Moses was born, God had completed all arrangements to ensure his mother will give birth to him naturally and safely, and had designated kind-hearted, God fearing and qualified nurses to be on duty on that same day, at that same time, in that same delivery location.

Whatever you may have been thinking about yourself, your marriage, children, finances, job and relationship, God had not made any mistake in your life and in your situation. As God executed His plans in the life of Moses, so is He doing in yours. He did not fail in the life of Moses, in selecting the people to be around Mosses’ parents, selecting the nurses for that moment and the attendants to help, so had He done in your life and will execute all of them perfectly.

Before Moses was abandoned by the side of the river by his parents for fear that their deeds will be made known to Pharaoh, God had destined Pharaoh’s daughter to pick him up from that point and that Moses will grow to become a great man under the care and provision of Pharaoh. God had destined that Moses will never be hungry and will never lack; God had destined that Moses will never suffer under any form of labor as other Israelites were laboring under severe pains then. Is there anything too hard for God to do for you also? Look, it is not what is happening to others that should matter to you, it is not what is happening in your city and country that matters most to God, it is what you are seeing and hearing that matters, it is what God is doing for you, in you, and through you that matters most. Refuse to compare yourself with others, refuse to compare your spouse, your marriage, your children and your family with others around you, do compare yourself and everything about you with the word of God for your own life, even when you are of the parents, in the same, in the same location, of the same race, gender and in the same profession, God can single you out for something very spectacular and amazing to behold as He did with Moses compared to the rest of the children of Israel. He is the same yesterday, today and will ever remain the same till humanity begins to experience eternity.

Before Moses reached the Red Sea, God had concluded that they will pass over a dry land and had completed all necessary arrangements to execute His plans; all that was left was for Moses to pray and to follow the instructions that will come after his prayers. God had concluded everything about your life now and in the future, He has finished His plans to use you and to honor you, all that is left is your prayers and following instructions thereafter.

“ ---the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. I promise you what I promised Moses: Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you from the Negev wilderness in the south to the Lebanon mountains in the north, from the Euphrates River in the east to the Mediterranean Sea in the west, including all the land of the Hittites. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:2-9. For prayers, Click here
