"CHRIST JESUS TOOK OUR PLACE"

Post date: Apr 13, 2017 11:30:21 PM

We will never understand the fullness, the power, and the intent of God’s love for our lives until the day we will be with Him in heaven. We will never be able to feel the fullness of the impact of His love, His forgiveness, and His mercy without knowing Jesus Christ, believing and accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.  We will never comprehend what Christ Jesus did for humanity by offering Himself that faithful day and taking our place on the cross until the day we will see Him face to face in His kingdom. Christ Jesus came into the world to fulfill a purpose that was set by our Father in heaven; He came to show us the way to the only God who loves and had promised to abide with us forever; He took our place on the cross for a reason that pleases the Father, and for reason alone, Satan is angry and out to destroy those who believes and follow Christ wholeheartedly. Because Jesus Christ did it, we are able to have victory.

As you celebrate Easter, remember that it was instituted for you and for all who believes and accepts to follow and depend on Jesus Christ alone as their Lord and savior. As you celebrate this Easter, remember an innocent blood was shed on your behalf; as you celebrate this Easter, remember that a greater celebration is coming; as you celebrate Easter, remember that the angels of God in heaven celebrated your salvation and are waiting to celebrate you again as you walk in that victory that Jesus Christ purchased for you with His blood on the cross at Calvary. As you celebrate Easter, remember that Christ Jesus took captivity of the spiritual and physical weapons in the hands of your enemies then and now and in the future that were, and are fashioned for your destruction, rendering them ineffective and powerless against your life and the things He had and will enable you to do in His name. Because of the price that was paid on our behalf on the cross, it is declared in the scriptures, “If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them. Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat. I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy. But in that coming day, no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken.” Isaiah 54:15-17

Christ did not go to the cross empty handed, He took along with Him all of our sins, wrongs, and that of our ancestors, he took idea or actions that the devil would ever use against us; it was not a show of physical strength but divine strength; it was a show of God’s divine plan and will; it was not a moment of comfort for Him, but a moment that will guarantee our comfort; it was a time of sorrow, and a time of pain but Christ never regretted doing that for us. It was a time to pay the price that was necessary to declare the freedom, break our yoke, comfort our souls, and give our hearts the peace we deserve in trusting God; it was time to make true what was promised; a time to show the love of God to all humanity publicly; a time to give hope and sustain hope and a time to put the devil in its place of history.

The journey may not be easy, but because of what was accomplished by Christ Jesus on the cross on our behalf, we will succeed. Christ Jesus took our place. “But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past.” Romans 3:21-25. For Prayers Click here
