JOSHUA’S UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER WITH DESTINY

Post date: May 15, 2018 3:50:21 AM

There are things that will definitely happen to you because you are saved through Christ Jesus, because you have prayed to the Almighty God through Jesus our Lord, because you have trusted the Lord and His words, because your sins are forgiven and washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ and because you are serving the Lord Almighty with your whole heart and strength and might and with your resources without looking back. That was the case with Joshua. Did you know God will do amazing to, and for you just because of your faithfulness to Him and to His words? He can bless you without a prior dream, revelation, or word of knowledge or prophesy. Your destiny from God does not depend on anything else but on God’s mercy and compassion. Because He knows you, see you and acknowledges your consistency, He will open the unexpected door for you and He will grant you the grace to embrace the unexpected greatness and the long overdue joy you never expected will come. Do not be distracted by the troubles in the services you offer to the house and people of God, God Himself will reward you very well and very soon.

Joshua’s encounter with destiny came as a reward for faithfulness, dependency, and reliability to God, to Moses and to service. He was humble, submissive, tolerant and a great companion. God refers to him as Moses servant. He was close to Moses, suffered with Moses in all things that he did for God and in the service to the children of Israel. Right from the very moment that Moses had the encounter with his destiny and all through his work with God in obedience and faithfulness, Joshua was with him. May I assure you again that the Almighty God is still in control despite what we are facing in life, He will not forsake you and will not forget your services to Him, He is taking you and leading you and He will keep you till you get to the place He had destined and made ready for you. Your destiny is in His hands and no one will change that, no situation will change that and no issue will change His plans and purpose fr your life. Fear not, be courageous, be strong, remain faithful to Him and continue following, trusting, and obeying Him, that was the word to Joshua as he stepped into his destiny. God also gave him an instruction, do not depart from what Moses had told you, reed, keep and meditate on the word of God and never depart from its principles. That was all that Joshua needed to succeed in the assignment needed. Did you know God is still making choices today based on the same principle? I pray He will find you faithful, committed and ready; you will not miss your chances. There is nothing absolutely impossible for God to do for the righteous, for those washed and purified by the blood of Jesus Christ and for those who consistently call on His name for help.

“After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them, to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates, all the Hittite country, to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:1-9. God will give the same to you and announce your next location and next profession in Jesus name. Amen. For prayers, Click here
