YES, THEY ARE IRREVOCABLE (4)

No weapon formed, fashioned, or directed at you shall prosper. God said it, that is God’s word for you, it is not the word of man’s imagination or yours, not the imagination or word of the learned or the powerful. That is God’s verdict, God’s word that has to be wholly believed, accepted, and watch it come to pass in our lives through active and living faith in Jesus Christ. God did not say the weapons will not be made, used, or intend to be used against you, He said they will not function as expected against you, the evil weapons and plots will not in any way prosper in their hands, and you will not be affected by their devices even when you are the sole target to be destabilized, destroyed or killed. Their weapons differ from person to person and from place to place but they all have the same intent, to kill you and whatever is yours, to steal what you already have as your possession, or to destroy if they can’t kill it or steal it. But this is the word of God for you in all situations: “The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness. I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep.” John 10:10-11 Christ Jesus had laid down His life to render you free and render their weapons against you ineffective.

For Daniel, the weapon was the desire for him to compromise his faithfulness to the living God, desire for him to submit, follow, or allow them to commit evil in governance. The weapon was the den of hungry lions as his final place of destruction, but it failed when God sent His angels to shut the mouth of the hungry lions meant to kill him. This was Daniel’s testimony to the king and the people; “God sent His angel to shut the mouths of the lions so that they would not hurt me. He did this because He knew that I was innocent and because I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.” Daniel 6:22. When the weapons against Daniel failed, bigger promotions started in his life. “Then King Darius wrote to the people of all nations, races, and languages on earth, greetings, I command that throughout my empire everyone should fear and respect Daniel's God. He is a living God, and He will rule forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His power will never come to an end. He saves and rescues; He performs wonders and miracles in heaven and on earth. He saved Daniel from being killed by the lions. Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.” Daniel 6:25-28

The weapons desired to trap Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to compromise their God, the blazing burning furnace set up to kill them did not succeed because they refused to accept, obey and follow contrary instructions against their God. When the plot failed, God did the impossible in their lives and for them thereafter. “So Nebuchadnezzar went up to the door of the blazing furnace and called out, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, servants of the Supreme God, come out, and they came out at once. All the princes, governors, lieutenant governors, and other officials of the king gathered to look at the three men, who had not been harmed by the fire. Their hair was not singed, their clothes were not burned, and there was no smell of smoke on them. The king said, praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He sent His angel and rescued these men who serve and trust Him. They disobeyed my orders and risked their lives rather than bow down and worship any god except their own. And now I command that if anyone of any nation, race, or language speaks disrespectfully of the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, he is to be torn limb from limb, and his house is to be made a pile of ruins. There is no other god who can rescue like this. And the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to higher positions in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3:26-30. God set these four men free from the plot of evil against them and thereafter promoted them before the same people who raise these weapons against them. God’s promises for you are irrevocable, they will be fulfilled, you will see it and God will honor Himself in you. For prayers, Click here
