“WHEN WE KNOW THAT GOD IS FOR US (01)”

Post date: Nov 26, 2015 11:10:56 PM

The moment we come to know this; comprehend it fully into our minds and thoughts and apply it diligently in our everyday living, all things will definitely change for our good. The scripture assures us that when we know that God is for us; things will definitely work out for our good; accusations and condemnations will not stop us; persecutions, troubles, calamities, hunger, destitute, danger, threats from any people, death, angels from hell, worries and the powers of darkness will not be able to stop us from receiving the promise and obtaining the glory.

In every situation, in every location, irrespective of any physical or spiritual condition we will ever find ourselves, whether in times of need or times of abundance; sickness or health; in joyful mood or in sadness; in humiliation or shame, the moment we come to know that the presence of God is in us, that will guarantee us a remarkable difference. The presence of the Almighty God in us will always be a game changer and will always bring benefits that are far beyond the imaginations and intelligence of men. If the Almighty God, He who made and sustain all things in heaven and on earth by the power of His words is for us, which He does always, then our expectations in life should be quite different from all the expectations of others in the world with the same situations like us; our ways of thinking and comprehension of divine facts should be completely different from that of the people of the world; the words we speak to ourselves in times of rejection after offering our very best should be different; the words we speak to our children, spouses, family, parents and to others around us irrespective of their situations should be different.

When we know and accept that God is for us which He will always be, then we will view things in a different way; the views we maintain in our situations should be that of positive changes and not fearful despair. It should affect our relationship with others and should be to encourage rather than discouragement; it should be to keep them in our prayers with a positive hope of a divine change and intervention. If we know that God is for us, then we should never have fear today or that of tomorrow; we should never be discouraged despite disappointments and frustrations sets in because through His presence we expect to see and hear our glorious change in the land of the living. When we know that God is for us, then fear should not be a companion.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one, for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one, for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, for your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:28-39.For Prayers Click here
