"YOUR WORDS SHOULD BLESS YOU"

“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, O Nebuchadnezzar; we do not need to answer you on this point. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18. Turn your life around by your words, that is God’s will for you; turn your situations around by your words, that is God’s desire for you; give live to your expectations by the words you speak to yourself and the words people hear from you, that is what God expect from you; turn your distractors way from you by your words that is God’s plans for you; refuse to give live to frustrations in your life by your words, that will depress you; refuse to live in the situation that Satan had planned for you, that will cause more frustration for you, for your family, for your spouse, for your children, for your profession, for your finances, and for your marriage. Refuse in every situation, to speak what the devil wants, speak what will give you the life you desire irrespective of the situation as these three Hebrew brothers did right in front of the burning finance scheduled to burn them alive if they refuse to change their mind.

Your situations should not define your future but what you say in those situations should; your experience with all the people with evil intent against you should not define your state and your future but what you say during the period of the experience should. What name do you call your present situation? What name do you give to the things you are currently going through and what name do you give to your life expectations? What you use your voice for and what you say from your mouth are important. Your words can be a source of blessings to you irrespective of what the devil is doing or it can be a source of pains to you throughout the period; it can be a source of inspiration to you or a source of demoralization to you; it can bring you the joy that other cannot imagine or cause you pains that the enemies expect to see and hear from you. Irrespective of the situation in your life, your age, past failures, color and location, your words can change you, can change everything about, can change the situation and change the people around you. NNo one owes you good words as much as you owe yourself in all situations, in every circumstance, and in every moment. God is not calling you to be a failure, He did not save you for that and He is not asking you to be selfish or self-centered either; what you do to yourself, say to yourself, and act in every situation matters. Your words can bring healing, keep you sick, or deliver you from the depressions and frustrations that any form of evil from any quarter will intend for you.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego despite what was before them were very clear with what they said to Nebuchadnezzar and the people who were listening to them. Their words were not what Nebuchadnezzar wanted to hear from them but that what God wanted to hear and they did just that; their word was offensive to Nebuchadnezzar but it gave God honor and joy that He deserved in their lives, and at the end, God honored them back according to their words. This was the reward; “Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who believed in, trusted in, and relied on Him. They violated the king’s command and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut into pieces and their houses be made a heap of rubbish, for there is no other god who is able to save in this way. Then the king caused Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to prosper in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 2:28-30. Through your salvation, you change the narrative in your life and situation; you can bring them to the obedience of God by the words you speak to yourself. For Prayers Click here
