REMEMBER, I GAVE YOU A PROMISE

In times of fear and uncertainties and disappointments, remember the promise you have from the Lord who loves you far beyond everyone else irrespective of the situation. Many children of God are discouraged by the sorrows and the pains of disappointments they have in their lives every day. Many are experiencing unending troubling times; the bright sky of each new day had turned gray and is getting darker and darker with no hope of getting better. But even in those situations, God is saying to you personally, remember I gave you a promise which shall never fail and will never be taken from you by those situations in your life. Never forget you have a promise that had not been corrupted by the devil; these promises are to part of your daily guide every second of the day.

In times and moments of heartbreak, God will show His great power and willingness to comfort you beyond the heartbreaks and the reasons for the initial heartbreak. He will be your shield in times of sorrow, in times of loneliness, and in times of silent tears. When the battle rages on for too long, God will still guide you through the entire duration. And He will be your light on every step even when the way to your destiny is still a long way to come. Always remember the loving words of promises of your Father and place your life completely in His hands for His care.

He knows your journey had not been easy; He knows all of your troubles and struggles; though the reply had not been forth coming, He hears all of your prayers. He did not promise the dreams and visions will be easy, but He promised to be with you and to help you succeed in everything he had called you to do even when you have troubles and difficulties in doing them. His amazing grace is unending and very sufficient; His love is powerful enough to bring joy into your life and His presence will definitely make a great difference at all times irrespective of the durations of your disturbing times. God’s plans for you are always better and His weaknesses are stronger than the strength of all men combine. You are always in His sight and He will turn your life around for the very best in all things because you have believed in Him and follow His words.

He will be your shield in the day and in the night and through the difficult times in your life even when there is no way out for you, because of His love, He will make a way for you. Some day and that very soon, you will come to understand why God sent that trial, why He tarried so long, why He kept that silent and remain inactive in your life when you did cry for so long. Some day you will see the end of afflictions, disappointments, troubles, shame, abuse and delays and you will give Him the thanks and the praise that you now know it was worthwhile for you to go through all of those things.

After Job was restored, he knew why God permitted such an experience in his life. After Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire of king Nebuchadnezzar, they knew why God permitted such a horrifying experience. Jesus Christ our Lord was rewarded and God will not leave you unrewarded in your struggles. “But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you. Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” Isaiah 43:1-7
