FIRST ELEMENT IN A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP

Relationships are good and excellent relationships are better and always very rewarding. God in His infinite love had ordained human beings to have a relationship for greater reasons than we will never be able to completely unravel in our best knowledge, think and assume. God wants you to have great benefits in your relationship, to prosper in your relationship and to rejoice in every relationship. He wants you to benefit greatly in every right relationship that you maintain with a pure heart, with the right intent, with a godly love, with the fear of Almighty God and the word of God as your ultimate guiding principle. God does not want you to suffer in life indefinitely so He made a relationship that will help you out; He did not begin relationships for suffering or as a means to do evil so He also provides rewards for relationship; relationship was and it is still for the purpose of fulfilling God’s will, plans and purposes for your life at all times throughout your time of living on earth, in every place that you will ever live and work.

The first element in a right relationship that will ensure reward from God is love that is pure, elevating and unconditional; love that is reciprocal and transparently measured, tolerated, accepted easily and trusted. Paul writing to the Corinthians said irrespective of what he will ever do at any time, irrespective of the cost of any of His deeds; irrespective of what he will ever be in life, if he has no love of God in him and in his deeds, he and all his deeds will be only as noisy gong or a clanging cymbal making an annoying distraction. He also said the gift of prophecy, the possession and giving of news words of mysteries and words of knowledge; speaking in all manner of tongues; having and always exercising sufficient faith in all things; having God’s power to remove spiritual and physical barriers without love reaching out to others, he is nothing. He said if he specializes in giving precious gifts to people and to feed the poor, and if he surrenders his body to be burned for any reason without having love, it will do no good to him.

Paul went on to tell us the components of this relationship based on the love of God; it is the kind of love that endures long, the kind of love that is patience, the kind of love that is calm, peaceful, and untroubled; the love is kind, and the kind of love that is thoughtful always. It is the kind of love that is not jealous, not envious of others, and not suspicious of anything; it is the kind of love that does not brag of itself, the kind of love that is not proud and not arrogant. It is the kind of love that is not rude to anyone; the kind of love that is not self-seeking; the kind of love that is not easily provoked and the kind of love which is not easily angered. It is the kind of love that does not take into account any previous or present wrongs suffered, and it is the kind of love that does not rejoice when others suffer injustice. It is the kind of love that relies on and rejoices in the truth and when that truth prevails. It is the love that bears all things regardless of the outcome; it is the kind of love that believes all things, that looks for the best in each one, that hopes all things while remaining steadfast during difficult times and without weakening. It is the kind of love that never fails, never fades and never ends.

“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked nor overly sensitive and easily angered; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth when right and truth prevail. Love bears all things regardless of what comes, believes all things looking for the best in each one, hopes for the best of all things, remains steadfast during difficult times, endures all things without any sign of weakening. It is the kind of love that never fails, never fades nor ends. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. The first element in a right relationship is love that grows with the word of God and laced with all peace and truth. For prayers Click here
