TAKE MY SHAME AWAY OH LORD

Post date: May 5, 2014 4:06:38 AM

Irrespective of what I see with mine own eyes, hear with mine own ears from people far and near, big or small, from within and without, by good friends and by strong foes, from the print and electronic media, and irrespective of anything that I will ever experience personally in life, I will forever continue to believe that there is absolutely nothing good that God will ever withhold from His children, or any of His promises to anyone go unfulfilled in the lives of people who put their trust, hope and faith in Him daily.

Dear children of God, I want you to believe that the toughness of times and of any situation in this life, the years of continuous delays and growing wickedness of men and any type of denial; the many years of waiting on a particular promise from God and desire to be fulfilled and the frustrations associated with waiting does not in any way mean God had forsaken you or that He will never answer your prayers and take away all of your imaginary and real shame.

There are many true and committed bible believing Christians around the world today who are continuously battling with various forms of shame in their personal lives than they battle with sin. They experience shame in lives of their immediate and distant family member, shame in their personal finances; Shame in their offices with friends and colleagues; shame in their jobs and businesses; shame in their marriages, shame in the lives of their children, and shame in their daily engagement with people. I am convinced that this shame will not last forever.

Most of these shameful battles have a spiritual backing from the devil through his agents; they come on you suddenly and unaware. They come with the wicked intent to kill, destroy and waste away your life, waste away your God-given-resources, ridicule your precious life, kill all your hopes, your trust, your faith and give you a slim and unpleasant future. To some, their shame is perpetual lack of money to meet their needs and there is no amount of assistance from anyone that can change their lives in any way. To some, their shame is moving from one known to an unknown sickness year in and year out.

To some their shame is waiting endlessly for a spouse, watching and celebrating with others as they get engaged and married every day while they still very fit, ready and expectant. To others their shame is childlessness after years of marriage and failed medical assistance in that respect. To others their shame is lack of true and lasting peace in their lives everywhere they go on the earth, they always have issues with people and in their relationship. To others, their shame is their children not meeting expectations after investing much on them. To some their shame is the behavior of their spouses. To others, their shame is lack of a steady and profitable employment, business opportunities, and sources of good livelihood.

But despite the nature and sources of the shame, despite your location, language, profession, race and gender there is nothing that our Lord Jesus Christ cannot do for you. Believing in Christ is definitely a game changer irrespective of your past experiences and what people are saying. It will always remain true that true Salvation turns things around for your good, offers you a new life and grants a new and effective opportunity for your next level. You can, you will through Christ Jesus overcome this shame. Whether inherited or not, there is every assurance in the Holy Scriptures that you will overcome.

“The Scripture says no man who believes in Him who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him will ever be put to shame or be disappointed. No one, for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all of us and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him in faith.  For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord invoking Him as Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:11-13.
