“GIVE ME DIVINE FAVOR OH LORD (2) ”

Divine favor comes with assurance, with direction, with help, with peace, and with joy. When we don’t see results in what we do, we will be discouraged and may give up, we will start doubting ourselves and doubting if we did hear God speak or if what we are doing with all sincerity of purpose is right before God even when we were convinced before we start. The lack of tangible results after years of labor, after years of dedication, after years of consistent fasting and prayers, and after years of total submission will definitely create doubt and discouragement; it will hinder our thoughts and feelings, it will make us look like fools before men and even mocked. But even when we are mocked as believers, God will never be mocked because He will act and He will do wonders that will take the mockery away and distinguish us before men on earth.

It is good to know what happened to Noah in his days and how he was favored and delivered in ways that no one had imagined. The idea of making an ark was not Noah’s idea, the idea of surviving the impending destruction from the flood was not from Noah’s idea, the idea of how to make the ark and fortify it against water and against the flood was not from Noah, the idea of saving some of the animals by bringing them into the ark was not Noah’s idea, the idea of calling only his children into the ark was not Noah’s idea. All that happen to Noah, the hearing from God at a time that everyone elsewhere busy with their own affairs, the instructions he received and the direction on what and how to construction the ark and who and what to take into the ark were all a reward of God’s favor upon his kife and I ask that you will receive that kind of favor today wherever you are in Jesus Name. God’s favor opens unimaginable doors, leads on unimaginable ways, orders the doing of what is acceptable and right at the right time and place and keeps you save even when others are falling and failing and facing destructions.

“The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The Lord regretted that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was deeply grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, I will destroy mankind whom I have created from the surface of the earth, not only man but the animals and the crawling things and the birds of the air because it deeply grieves Me to see mankind’s sin and I regret that I have made them. But Noah found favor and grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the records of the generations, family history of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, one who was just and had right standing with God, blameless in his evil generation; Noah walked, lived in habitual fellowship with God. Now Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The population of the earth was corrupt, absolutely depraved spiritually and morally putrid in God’s sight, and the land was filled with violence, desecration, infringement, outrage, assault, and lust for power. God looked on the earth and saw how debased and degenerate it was, for all humanity had corrupted their way on the earth and lost their true direction. God said to Noah, I intend to make an end of all that lives, for through men the land is filled with violence; and behold, I am about to destroy them together with the land. Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make in it rooms, stalls, pens, coops, nests, cages, compartments and coat it inside and out with pitch bitumen.” Genesis 6:5-14

It is good to know that despite all the pains and sufferings associated in the world today, God can still do amazing things and He will give His children favor. There is a reward in salvation, there is a reward in fasting and prayers, there is a reward in self-dedication and consistency in following the plans and will of God for your life, there is a reward in humility and God will not fail to give you a life-changing favor as He gave to Noah. At a time of impending disaster, Noah found favor and grace in the eyes of the Lord because he was a righteous man, he was just, he was blameless and above all, Noah walked and, lived in habitual fellowship with God.
