YOUR CHALLENGES ARE NOT ORDINARY

The challenge of twenty five years of barrenness that Abraham and Sarah suffered was never an ordinary event; it was to stop the word of God concerning Isaac from being fulfilled, to destroy their faith in God, to destroy our hopes in life today, our trust and our reliance on the word of God, and to weaken the power of the word of God’s promises to man. If God did not step in to enforce His word, the devil would have held on to that forever as an example of God’s failure to keep His promises to man. Your challenges of barrenness, loneliness in marriage, childlessness, and difficulties in having a lifetime companion are never ordinary.

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, for your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39

All your various challenges in life since the very moment you stepped out in a voluntary decision to follow Jesus Christ as your only Lord and savior in truth and in spirit, and to walk faithfully in Him as a true Christian, are not ordinary in any way, they have far more spiritual and physical implications than you had ever thought before, and their effects in your personal life and in the lives of those God had destined to bless with your level of submission are far more reaching than you will ever imagine. All forms of challenges to anyone under heaven in any location, speaking and language, of any race, and of any age, irrespective of what they may be engaged in doing for a living are never ordinary.

Do not allow this news to be a surprise to you beloved; the devil with all his crafty knowledge and purpose will never in any way challenge anyone without having cogent reasons to give for his actions. He does not challenge people indiscriminately without knowing exactly what he is doing and what he expects; he will only go for people who have divine missions to accomplish in life; go after people with potent divine dreams of great impacts in the lives other people; he will go after people with a divine purpose to stand on and walk with as they live every day; he will go after people who had been truly redeemed from his enclave of enslavement and set apart for God’s divine use, people who have voluntarily refused to carry out his missions in their lives and in the lives of others, and he will go after  people who had been saved by the regeneration of their minds and hearts by the power of the word of God.

Do not allow the challenges you are confronting daily in your life, in your marriage, in your job and in your job search, in your everyday relationship with people; challenges in the lives of your children and the ones you have in your neighborhood overwhelm you thoughts, though they are not ordinary, God will not allow them to overcome you. Even when you are in the very darkest spot in your various challenges, God had prepared a place and a time for you to overcome.

The challenges of moving from having joy to having instant sorrows through the loss of all his children; the instant destruction of all his life dreams, efforts in business and all his investments in life, the various sicknesses, homelessness, loneliness and rejection by friends and family that Job went through in life were not ordinary. But God did not allow those challenges to continue indefinitely and to destroy him. You will overcome these challenges. For prayers, Click here
