DEAR LORD, PLEASE RESTORE MY PEACE

God in the best of His knowledge and wisdom wholeheartedly gave you the fullness of His peace on the day of your salvation but unfortunately you completely lost it on the day and time of your prolonged anger, rage and impatience. Once the devil succeeds in taking your peace away in any particular thing, he will take over the rest of your life despite the story of your salvation, taking undue advantage of you at all times, in all things, and in every location you will ever find yourself. Unfortunately the devil has never shown mercy to anyone at any time in anything.
“Peace I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.” John 14:27
The only reason you are often very discouraged, frustrated, weak and very disturbed is not only because of the activities of the devil against your life, but because you have lost God’s peace in your life and have lost your patience in the things you are hoping for and trusting God for in life. A person with the indwelling of God’s peace will always have good dreams, good visions, good desires and renewed energy for each new day in all good things and will always be very hopeful in what God will do next. Without the peace of God in the life of any individual, confusion will reign unabated irrespective of the level of love and care provided by friends and family.
It will amaze you to realize that many Christians have completely lost the experience of having true peace in their lives, in their family, in the things around them, in the things they are praying God for, and in the things they are doing. They now live as people who have not experienced the peace of salvation before; they now live without a lasting hope, without any meaningful joy and without a better vision for themselves now and in the future if Christ tarries. This should not be so. God is willing and is quite able and ready to restore your peace now so that you will stand up again with grace and begin the race for your dreams and desires with assurance and joy.
The full restoration of your peace is the only true foundation where lasting joy, godliness, better hope for the today and the future, better dreams and good visions can be fulfilled. Peace is not external but internal; it begins within an individual before spreading and affecting others.
One of the greatest desires of men around the world in all profession, in all positions, location, and gender irrespective of their wealth is peace. We talk about peace so often but yet peace seems very elusive, the more the world talk and desire peace the more it seems further extended beyond reach.
“We who are strong in our convictions and of robust faith ought to bear with the failings and the frailties and the tender scruples of the weak; we ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us make it a practice to please his neighbor for his good and for his true welfare, to edify him, strengthen him and build him up spiritually. For Christ did not please Himself but, as it is written, the reproaches and abuses of those who reproached and abused you fell on me.” Romans 15:1-3
Irrespective of the number of years you have lost your peace, Christ is willing to restore them today in full if only you are willing to humble yourself now and ask from Him. Remember you cannot buy peace with money and you cannot get peace without His sacrifice. Erroneously you placed your desires above His demands in your life; you have valued your comfort more than the inconvenience associated in investing in your peace. You have forgotten that what you are today is because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ at the cross. Once your peace in Christ is restored, then every other thing that concerns your life, your marriage, your job, and your family will also be fully restored.
