It was the presence of God that facilitated the movement, the defense and the health of the people of Israel through the wilderness to the Promised Land after Moses led them out of slavery in the of Egypt despite all the challenges from their enemies, the wars, the thirst, the delays, the attacks, the hunger and the sicknesses. When God is there, the assurance of reaching the destination is guarantee despite what will ever happen to you on the way and the number and strength of the people that will ever vow or stand on your way to hinder. Moses discovered the importance of not only hearing from God and following instructions, but asking God to go with him and with them on the mission. You may have heard clearly from God, you have been keeping and also diligently following all of His instructions, but now, I want you to take another step and ask God for His presence to go with you as Moses did. Your result will be much sweeter, much better, and quite different from it had been before now.

This was the statement of Moses requesting God to go with them or they will not depart from where they were. “One day Moses said to the Lord, You have been telling me, take these people up to the Promised Land. But you haven’t told me whom you will send with me. You have told me, I know you by name, and I look favorably on you. If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people. The Lord replied, I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest, everything will be fine for you. Then Moses said, if you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me, on me and on your people, if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth. The Lord replied to Moses, I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name. Moses responded, then show me your glorious presence. The Lord replied, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.” Exodus 33:12-19

When you know that God is for you, you will equally know that the darkness of the night will never prevent the next day from coming forth and your life from being transformed by Him; you will know that the troubles of yesterday will never prevent God from remarkably blessing you today; that the loneliness of yesterday will not prevent you from finding a suitor that God had destined for you; that the rejection of yesterday will not stand against your acceptance tomorrow; that the barrenness of yesterday will not prevent your miracle baby from being conceived and delivered; that your misfortune in previous deals or association will not prevent the next opportunity God will give to you in life. Having the presence of God with you exhumes the excellence of a greater and benefiting wisdom; His direction will definitely lead you to the exact place at the exact time with the precision guardian of His angels as you walk along that path.

The knowledge that God is with and for you will definitely change everything about you, change your situations and take your expectations far beyond any other imaginations in all of humanity past and present. The presence of God brings light in every life and illuminates brighter in every situation; it reveals the right path and ensures optimum safety and defense on that path; it attracts all divine help and divine favors from friends and foes; it separates the victors from the victims, ensures true testimony and upholds the peace of God within. The beginning of our true victory in life is not how much we have come to master spiritual warfare and have been engaging the devil adequately using our divine weapons, but it is the moment we come to know and fully accept that the Almighty God is for us in every situation. The presence of God is comforting, He had not finished with you and the devil will never finish you. Ask for His presence now. For Prayers Click here
