"ONLY THROUGH GOD’S MERCIES"

Even when we are called, anointed, assured of success, has or given all that is need to succeed in whatever we do; we should never underestimate the works of the people of darkness and their evil activities against the righteous followers of Jesus Christ. God’s mercies will ever and always be needed in everything we do and in everywhere we go. The promises of men are failures and people are backing out of agreements and assurances they have given, but God will never bask out when His mercy is operation and He will never withdraw His assurance to you. The results of enjoying God’s mercies will be far more than the best of our expectations and the expectations of others about us in everything and in every way. God’s mercy is a shield against failure, mistakes, misfortunes, and misdirection, and it is an assurance of God’s presence and work of grace. Where God’s mercy is operational, God’s grace will also be available and the combination of these two will bring the amazing result of His love and compassion. We should spend time in prayers to ask for God’s mercy in our lives even in things we know very well and have been assured of by men. We can see what Moses did after God had spoken him, given him clear instructions and power concerning the assignment He was sending him, yet Moses spends time asking God for His mercy and presence throughout and God granted him the request.

It is by His mercies that we are not consumed by the adversities, the pains, the discouragements of life and the activities of the wickedness of men and by the children of darkness working with Satan against us in high places seeking to have us as their victims of evil actions. It was only through His mercies that the children of Isreal survive in Egypt despite their torture, that they left Egypt after four hundred and thirty years, that the survived all the problems in the wilderness and that they reached the Promised Land. God’s mercy was their companion and their help, He never left them and never forsook them; in everything they went through, they saw His mercy working for them and leading them through. You are alive through His mercy and you will see more of His mercies because of your relationship with Jesus Christ. God’s mercy will go with you.

“One day Moses said to the Lord, You have been telling me, take these people up to the Promised Land. But you haven’t told me whom you will send with me. You have told me, I know you by name, and I look favorably on you. If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people. The Lord replied, I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest, everything will be fine for you. Then Moses said, if you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me, on me and on your people if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth. The Lord replied to Moses, I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name. Moses responded then show me your glorious presence. The Lord replied, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose. But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live. The Lord continued, look, stand near me on this rock. As my glorious presence passes by, I will hide you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and let you see me from behind. But my face will not be seen. Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not, for God said to Moses, I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose. So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.” Exodus 33:12-23; Romans 9:14-16. For prayer Click here
