God’s plans for you include giving commands to His angels concerning you. “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet. The Lord says I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Psalms 91:9-16. Even Satan knows that angels are not God. He knows they are limited and submissive to God in absolute obedience. He knows their duties and quoted one before Christ Jesus when he tempted Him directly in the wilderness.

No, God is not an angel; He made them and they are subject to Him alone at all times. I have heard people describe their god as angels and also describe men as angels, God is not an angel and men are not angels. Everything on earth and in heaven was created by God and everything is subject to Him irrespective of their strength, location, and disposition. Angels are given specific duties by our God concerning His creation and their only duty is to carry out His commands in full obedience and report their success back to Him. Because of the absolute obedience to the word and will of God, no angel ever report a failure, none ever engaged in a failed mission, and none ever work according to their individual will, thoughts or imaginations, they only carry out the commands of God and are fully in compliance with the word, His desires and His commands. The angels of God while living to execute the perfect plans of God in absolute obedience to His words has many roles in helping us in whatever situation we find ourselves as Christians. God sends His angels in response to our cry to fulfill is plans and on behalf of Christians for His own will to be accomplished when we desire them and are troubled in doing them.

A few of them include being God’s messengers, holy warriors, watching God’s the plans unfold on earth and in the lives of God’s children, praising and worshipping God, as Guardian Angels, they provide protection and direction to all of God’s children. They deliver messages from God, accompany us when we are lonely, downcasted, comfort us when we are humiliated by men and the devil when we are right with God, grants us protection and even fighting God’s battles with us against the enemies of the things and ways of God. Did you know God had assign angels to work in your life in a very profound way? For Daniel, God sent an angel and he shut the mouths of the lions. “My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.” Daniel 6:22. God commands His faithful messengers who are nearest to Him to guard us in all our ways while working with Him. To Jesus Christ our Lord in the gave, “Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. Suddenly there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. Then the angel spoke to the women. Don’t be afraid he said. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here; He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come see where his body was lying.” Matthew 28:1-6. And God never said to any of the angels, sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet. Therefore, angels are only servants spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.” Hebrews 1:13-14. God will send His angels to give you the help you need. For prayers Click here
