Yes it is tough, it is difficult, it is dangerous, it causes physical and spiritual bruises, it does not allow you to think properly, it does hinder your dreams and visions and desires, it is limiting you in many ways, causing sickness and hatred and unhappiness, it is causing you shame, loneliness, and isolation, it is making you waste your money, it is making you look like a fool without a direction and a plan, it is limiting your success, there is none to help you and even friends are deserting you and you have no one who understands you, who sympathizes with you, none is willing to identify with you and none is able to stand and fight with you for a long time, but despite all that you have seen, known and experienced, God said He will fight for you, He will fight in your camp, He will give you victory, and He will establish you in His victory. God said your victory will not be ordinary, it will not easy but it will surely come, it will prove His name and His salvation in your life, and He will take the glory in your life and in your affairs.

The scripture acknowledges that Christians are in the fight of their lives; the battle is dangerous, tough, and real and Paul emphasized the reality of this battle, stressed that it is very difficult. But Paul and the scriptures assures us of definite victory through Christ our Lord; shows us weapons to use as God fights with us. Because of the nature of the battle, we are scripturally advised to be ready for victory by putting on all the armors from God that will ensure the promised victory in this spiritually dangerous, difficult, real and tough battle. You may be overwhelmed by the battle and feel weak by ready of what you have wasted so far and the number of days or years the battle had lasted, but despite all that, God is with you; He is by you, He is for you, and He will fight this very battle until you have the victory and be celebrated. He knows you are in a battle, and He knows you will have the victory through His power. Even in death and in the grave, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ had the victory and was celebrated; even in the fiery burning furnace, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had victory and were celebrated. Even in the den of lions, Daniel had victory and was celebrated. You will have the victory.

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord, draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him and in the power of His boundless might. Put on the full armor of God for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier so that you may be able to successfully stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood contending only with physical opponents, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural places. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to successfully resist and stand your ground in the evil day of danger, and having done everything that the crisis demands, to stand firm in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious. So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth, personal integrity, moral courage around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, an upright heart, and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news. Above all, lift up the protective shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and petition pray with specific requests at all times on every occasion and in every season in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition interceding in prayer for all God’s people. And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news of salvation, for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should.” Ephesians 6:10-20. Click here for prayer
