“And I will give them one heart and one purpose to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them; I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me. I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land. This is what the Lord says, just as I have brought all these calamities on them, so I will do all the good I have promised them. Fields will again be bought and sold in this land about which you now say, it has been ravaged by the Babylonians, desolate land where people and animals have all disappeared. Yes, fields will once again be bought and sold, deeds signed and sealed and witnessed in the land of Benjamin and here in Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah and in the hill country, in the foothills of Judah and in the Negev too. For someday I will restore prosperity to them. I, the Lord, have spoken.” Jeremiah 32:39-44

Something had changed in your life the day you believed, accepted, and decided to follow Jesus Christ, now, a new change is coming, another change is coming, the old had sustained you, the new will elevate you, the old had prepared you, the new will bring the blessings and it will be of a great reward. The old had some doubts with it, but the new will not be clouded with doubts or uncertainties. The restriction, the injustices, the current shame, the years of delays and the period of humiliations while waiting for the promise will not hinder the new change that is coming to pass in your life. A new joyful experience is coming, a new godly and profitable relationship with Christ Jesus is emerging, and a new song is coming out of your own heart and mouth, it will come like a high wave of the ocean that cannot be stopped, it will take its full course, it will make its impact known and seen in you and in your life, and it will praise my name in you and through you. Nations shall see it, shall hear you and shall give me praise.

Turning back is shameful, but you will not turn back, Abraham did not turn back, he persisted, he pressed on, he continued in faith and in expectation, and God did not fail but went ahead and made a covenant with him because of his strong faith in the promises despite the adversities and the long delays. That covenant was everlasting, it was inherited by Isaac, Jacob continued in it, and Christ Jesus came to make it even better while establishing a new one with us through our faith in Him. Though we are still receiving the blessings of the old covenant with Abraham, we also enjoy the beauty of the new covenant through Christ Jesus which leads us to everlasting life with God in heaven. You will not miss the blessings of the two covenants as a Christian.

After years of wondering thoughts and imaginations, after years of waiting and delays, and after years of holding faithfully to the promises, Sarah saw with her eyes and knew with all certainty that she was truly pregnant. When Abraham heard the good news of her conception and saw the physical signs, he was glad and from that time, things began to change, preparation to welcome the promised covenant child Isaac was accelerated; there was no thought of losing, no thought that the signs were false, all that Abraham and Sarah did thereafter was, prepare for the physical manifestation of the best new of their life, the physical confirmation of the long-awaited promise because a new change was coming, news that will confirm their expectation, news that will tell of the faithfulness of God and news that will convince others that Abraham was right to follow and depend on the Almighty God, and from that time, their lives were never the same again. It is very certain that your news is coming, news that will show forth the true power of God and news that will give you joy and gladness. It is not impossible for God to bless you by confirming His words and promises to, for, and in you.
