THE DAY THAT SATAN FAILED

“We are pressured in every way hedged in, but not crushed; perplexed, unsure of finding a way out, but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted to stand alone; struck down, but never destroyed. Therefore we do not become discouraged, disappointed, or afraid. Though our outer self is progressively wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16. Every attempt over your life will fail; every word that brings shame will fail; every instrument of destruction and humiliation will fail; everything that refuses to obey God in your life will fail. Jesus Christ is Lord over your life, He is Lord even in that situation you are going through; He is Lord in the day and in the night; He is Lord whether it rains or the sun is shining; He is Lord over the rich and poor; He is Lord in the times of sadness and in the times of joy; He is Lord when you praise Him and when you refuse to praise Him and He is Lord whether people believe His words or not, and because Jesus Christ is Lord over your life and you have accepted and believed Him, Satan had failed and will continue to be a failure in and over your life despite the situations in your life. God had chosen you for His own and there is nothing that will force Him to reject the choice He had made when you remain in Christ Jesus.

Satan failed the day Jesus Christ our Lord was crucified and hunged on the Cross; he failed the day Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead and walked out of the grave leaving the tomb empty; he failed the day Christ ascended up to heaven and he failed the day you were washed cleansed of all your past sins, past mistakes, and evil curses by the blood of Jesus and he failed the day you accepted and confessed Christ Jesus as your own Lord and Savior and given the grace to receive salvation, he failed the day you were given the Holy Spirit as your companion and helper and it is certain he will fail again as you remain faithful to the Almighty God despite the temptations and frustrations of today. The devil will not be successful against you not because of your name but because of the name of Jesus Christ; the devil will not succeed not because you are very strong and diligent in all things but because Jesus Christ is strong in you and lives in and with you; the devil will not succeed against you not because of your works but because of the works and purpose of Jesus Christ that you identified, believed, trusted and follow.

“For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; I always pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight into the true knowledge of Him for we know the Father through the Son. And I pray that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being may be enlightened flooded with light by the Holy Spirit, so that you will know and cherish the hope the divine guarantee, the confident expectation to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints God’s people, and so that you will begin to know what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His active, spiritual power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion whether angelic or human, and far above every name that is named above every title that can be conferred, not only in this age and world but also in the one to come. And He put all things in every realm in subjection under Christ’s feet and appointed Him as supreme and authoritative head over all things in the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and completes all things in all believers. Ephesians 1:15-23. You have every reason to rejoice, every reason to stand up, every reason to hope and every reason to be expectant. For prayers Click here
