WHAT IS IN YOUR DREAM?

“Look, let me answer you, in this, you are not right or just; for God is greater and far superior to man. Why do you complain against Him? That He does not answer you with all His doings; for God speaks once, and even twice, yet no one notices it including you. In a dream, a vision of the night one may hear God’s voice, when deep sleep falls on men while slumbering upon the bed, then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction, that He may turn man aside from his conduct, and keep him from pride; He holds back his soul from the pit of destruction, and his life from passing over into Sheol, the place of the dead.” Job 33:12-18

If your dream is always about your past, then you need a new dream about your future; if your dream is always about oppression and injustice, then you need a new dream about freedom and justice; if your dream is always reminding you of things that had passed, then you need a dream that will instruct you of things to come. If your dreams are always about destructions and fears of imaginary things then you will need a new dream that is instructive and constructive. God will not lead you without a guide, without instructions, without a destination, and without a reward. He promised Abraham a land filled with milk and honey and gave Moses the instructions on how to begin the journey, how to survive whatever will happen to them in the wilderness, how to get to the land, and how to live joyfully and peacefully in the Promised Land when they get there. In your dream and after, seek for a guide, seek for any instruction, seek for understanding, seek for the destination, and seek for the reward.

There is enough information in your dreams to bring you out of all forms of darkness in life, to give you a direction and a meaning in living, to give you hope and trust in your future, and to spell out the ways to get to the place where God had planned, destined, purposed and desired for you. Dreams are have hidden components that must be unlocked, understood and used. Dreams will always require diligence, endurance, godliness, relationship, and time to come true. Joseph had his two dreams at the age of seventeen and saw them fulfilled at the age of thirty-nine, a complete twenty years after. The time for each dream differs from person to person and from situations to situations, but despite the timing, God will give the dreamer the opportunity grace to see the dreams fulfilled in his or her lifetime. You will not have a dream and die with it or in it; God will open up doors and ways and means for you to see those dreams fulfilled while you are strong enough to enjoy the celebration and the fruits that will come thereafter. It is on record that Abraham and Sarah were strong enough and still able to rejoice at the birth of Isaac.

That dream might be very small in your understanding, but don’t ignore its size, it has the power to give and affect lives inside; it might seem insignificant to you, don’t ignore it, it is not so in the eyes of God; you may not remember all the details, don’t worry yourself, ask God for the details; you may not even remember the key issues in the dream, ask God to give them to you again; God will not ignore the things He had given to you, they are precious; He will not ignore the words and promises He had spoken to you, they are life and power; He will not ignore the dreams He had revealed to you, the visions He had shown you, and the great desires He had placed in your heart to nurture. All that it takes to fulfill a God-given dream, vision and heart desires are a close relationship with the God who gave them, a strong belief and reliance on His ability to fulfill all that He had revealed and said, a deliberate determination to separate yourself from things that are against the dreams and God. Your closeness to God will definitely be rewarded in ways that you will never be able to imagine. Peter never knew before he could be an apostle and preacher until he started having a good relationship and walking with Jesus Christ. Joseph had two big dreams and narrated them not minding what they will say or do; not knowing how, when, and where they will be fulfilled. He did the possible and God did the impossible.
