BE VERY COURAGEOUS

The Lord told Joshua, now that I have seen true commitment and faithfulness in following Moses this forty years through the wilderness, you have seen afflictions, you have also seen the hands of God in the affairs of men, now that you have shown completely submission, now that you are about to begin to reign after the demise of Moses my servant, now that I am transferring the Spirit and the grace of Moses to you, now that it is impossible for Me to turn back from leading this great nation and people to the place I had promised, what will distinguish now, and in the days and throughout the years of your leadership is nothing else but real courage.

From now, the Lord wants you to take note of certain things that He is about to do in you and through you. The phase you are about to enter, just like it was for Joshua, requires great and impartial courage; God had already given you the needed grace to develop and to uphold it. God is taking you into a new life, He is bringing you into a new relationship, a new wave of joy, a new leadership position, God is unleashing you from the shackles of destruction, fear, and delay, you are about to have the taste of His promises fulfilled and the devil cannot overcome you at this point, be very courageous. You have been waiting on the coast for too long; it is time to begin sailing joyfully and gracefully. Delays, fears and troubles are turning from you.

“Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river Euphrates all the land of the Hittites and to the Great [Mediterranean] Sea on the west shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” Joshua 1:3-8

These days, far greater than physical strength and knowledge, you need spiritual courage to make the desired difference in every location, profession and organization. You need the courage to stand when and where others are falling, compromising and quitting. You need the courage to give God your very best for His very best when others are giving Him left overs and crumbs that falls off the table. You need the courage to give God your ultimate obedience, faithfulness and submission in a world where the opposite is reigning. You need the courage to speak the truth, and stand by it when and where others refuse for fear of what might happen to them, and when they mock, sneer, and spit at you, calling you derogatory names. You need the courage to climb the mountains when others prefer the much easier hills, like Lot. You need the courage to advance when and where others are begging to retreat. You need the courage to remain praying and fighting until you see the last enemy defeated. You need the courage to say no to evil when others are saying yes. You need the courage to go where God wants you to go and to do what God wants you to do even when there is no support from anyone.

When you are courageous, God will perfect the rest and will perform the best in your life. Your faith will be stretched and tested, but you will overcome and be very victorious. Being courageous is not the absence of opposition or treats, it is the boldness to keep standing and obeying God in it. “Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6. Be very courageous, you have been called to win. Prayers and encouragement Click here
