THIRD ELEMENT IN RELATIONSHIPS

Act on whatever God says despite the truth you know and the ones you are yet to know about the others in the relationship, trust that God had not, and will not keep you in dark regarding what He wants you to do and what He wants you to gain in that relationship; He brought you here for His own purpose and that purpose is not to kill you, to destroy you, to harm you or to limit you, but to help and enhance your chances in the life to be what He had predestined and planned for you in life. Know that the devil will do all he can to keep you from receiving God’s desired rewards and blessings from the relationship. He will expose things you never knew before the relationship began, leaving you wondering where he was before now and why you did not know all these things before. Act on the words of God and not on the lies that you may be told by people trusting God to lead your heart and steps on everything you do despite the contrary things you hear thereafter concerning the person you are in a relationship with. Know that the mercy of God is what leads a man out of sin and wrongdoings to merit true repentance and the forgiveness of all past and present sins.

Remember, what you never heard before a relationship began, you will definitely hear during the duration of the relationship, but despite what you will ever hear, know that God had a purpose, a plan for you in that relationship and you must have what He had prepared for you in this life to have as you walk to obey Him alone in all things. There is nothing that the devil will do to stop the good things that God had prepared for you if he cannot stop you from believing God beyond your fears, trusting Him always in all things and at all times and in everywhere you will ever go on earth. David said this: “The Lord is my Shepherd to feed, to guide and to shield me, I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the sunless valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod to protect and Your staff to guide, they comfort and console me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell forever throughout all my days in the house and in the presence of the Lord.” Psalm 23:1-6.

God will not lead you into a relationship and fail to keep you, He led the children of Israel out of Egypt and protected them against Pharaoh who wanted them back by all means; He led them to the Red Sea and parted it for them to cross over despite the fears of being drowned; He led them to the wilderness and kept them safe, providing food and health such that they had no need for change of garment for forty years; He led them to River Jordan and parted it again; He led them to the wall of Jericho and pulled it down for them to pass unhindered. He fought their battles, defeated kings on their behalf and gave them the land He had promised. God will not leave you or forsake you in that relationship even when you experience limitations, hindrances, Pharaoh’s armies of fear and all forms of uncertainties of what will happen tomorrow to you. David always remembered that God anointed him and set him up for a purpose on earth and he concluded by saying ‘surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me’ that is God’s plans for you. It is better to act on what God says than to act on what people will say. Obedience is the key to all the good things we expect from God in life. Moses knew Pharaoh had a plan to kill him, to silence him and to do him whatever harm he could, yet when God asked him to go to that same Pharaoh, he obeyed because he knew God will defend him and God did; God will give him victory and God did; God will magnify him above the evil thoughts and plans of Pharaoh and God did. God will give you His blessings in that relationship. Prayers Click here
