CONFIDENCE OF HELP

“And the Lord said, it is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him” Genesis 2:18

“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4

Even in the very best of any condition on earth, man cannot be self-sufficient.  Man will always need help and will always depend on someone in some ways.  There is no one on earth today that does not need help.  Don’t count yourself as inferior or unaccomplished if you need one, God will always place people on your way to help fulfill His purpose in you because He cares for you and is working all things to bring you to the place of fulfillment and joy.

God is observing you for your good and for His good every day. Irrespective of your feelings or situations God is by your side, perfecting His ways and purposes.

God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden (the very best place for him with all provisions), but did not leave him on his own. He watched over him, and after a period of observations, declared His intent to give him a helper. Genesis 2:18

Put your confidence in God and He will direct your path.  Put your eyes on God and He will show you the way.  Put your mind on God and He will give you the peace you deserve.  Do not let confusion to ruin your day and your peace, if God cannot help you nothing else can.  He has not abandoned you to yourself, neither has He surrendered you to the wills of men and the devil.  If people have failed you in the past, that was temporal, God will rise up to help, He will not fail you.  If people have disappointed you, God will not, if people have deserted you, God will not.  If people have been a source of your predicament, God will raise up the ones that will be a source of your celebration. There are growing cases of mistrust amongst men today, but God has not change His words concerning giving you a helper in someone else.

David was chosen and anointed by God through Samuel to rule Israel after the sin and rejection of King Saul, but instead of King Saul honoring the choice of God, he raised up a killer squad to stop David, causing him to move from his father’s house to the forest, living from one cave to another to avoid being killed. But David maintained his confidence in God.

Though King Saul tried to hinder the fulfillment of David, God did not change His mind.  May I declare to you today that God has not changed His mind concerning you despite the King Saul in your life and the various disappointments and discouragements. The cruelty of men is not a sign of rejection by God neither is it a sign that you will never succeed. God will still use people to give you help, to bring you the recognition and confirmation of His words and intents for you.

When God said He will make Adam a helper, He did.  Have confidence that He will make it for you also. Say like David, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death daily in my search for a fulfilled life and joy in the promises of God, I am confident of God’s help and ability to make me what He said I am.

Let this confidence be in you today that with God, you will have the help needed to accomplish all necessary tasks now and in the future, help that will take you up and keep you up.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find help in time of need” Hebrews 4:16
