COMMITTED DECISION

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9

By God’s glorious design and purpose we were made to fulfill a purpose and we are living today just for that purpose. We all exist for something unique, something good, and something glorious. God did not make anyone without a responsibility and without a purpose. Every responsibility has an aim and the aim is to magnify you before men on earth and to glorify God in heaven.

Life is not a void irrespective of the circumstances.  Please don’t just exist, live for something. You were made for something great. Every good decision you take today will be beneficial to you, to someone and to your God someday. Christ Jesus came for a purpose. John 10:10

There are many things contending not just for your attention but to have control over you each day, the decision you make now matters. Some things are desirable and many are not. Some will lead to praise and some will not. Some will enhance your life and some will not. Remember, “All that glitters is not gold” be careful in decision making. Be focus on the values and impact it will make in your life, in the life of others and how God will react thereafter; God will never be silent forever concerning the decisions we make, He reacts to every one of them.

There is power in being committed to your decisions. Through it, your mind and heart will have a definite and continuous focus that will affect your speech, actions and expectations.  Through it you can order your steps right, avoid or minimize mistakes and wastage, have a secured future, and have a good and enjoyable life. Through it you can overcome satanic attacks and be delivered from being a victim.  Through it you have a very good relationship with God and man despite the odds.

Your decision will only be fruitful and beneficial, when you are personally committed to it every day despite the test you will experience. Job was a man of decision and he was heavily tested. He said, “Though He slays me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him” Job 13:15-16

Your greatness is not dependent on your name, but on your commitment to the decisions you make today.  Your future does not depend on the money you have now, but on the decision you make now. Your next level of progress in life is dependent on the decision you make now. Give yourself to something today that you may reap the benefits tomorrow. Life is not a void, live for something. Give yourself to honesty, mutual respect, decency, truthfulness, holiness, love, faithfulness, good and life enhancing thoughts and relationship, good and edifying speeches and godliness.

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16

God is committed to your safety, peace and salvation. To loving, saving, blessing, healing, using, providing, sustaining and keeping you for His glory.

What good decision are you committed to in life?
