NEVER THE SAME

“Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth. Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them anymore, as at the beginning.” 1 Chronicle 17:7-9

You cannot touch God without God touching you back, and He cannot touch you without leaving a permanent mark on you. When God picks up a man, irrespective of color, gender, location and language, He never leaves that person the same. He specializes in cleansing people, transforming their thoughts and lives and using them thereafter to display His glory. Nothing and no one will ever remain the same after a touch from God.

While God deliberately does this in people’s lives to glorify His name on earth, the devil deliberately does the opposite with the aim of discrediting the person before God, man, friends and the family. The strength of the devil in doing evil is in his consistency of attacks not in power, he never give up unless forced to a defeat by your consistency in belief, prayers and power in the name of Jesus Christ.

I love God’s testimony concerning David, He said He took him from tending sheep in the forest and placed him as a leader in Israel. He defended and delivered him from his enemies by destroying them, and made him famous and secured on earth. This same David we all know spent many years living in caves, in wilderness and in foreign lands for fear of King Saul. But despite his initial work and many problems, God did not leave him the same. Did you know it was easier for David to kill Goliath and nor Saul?

Everyone who is saved by Christ Jesus has received a touch from God irrespective of what the devil is doing in their lives. God cannot save your soul and leave your flesh to the devil forever; He cannot save you and surrender you to the devil to display his handwork indefinitely. When He saves, he deposits His spirit in you to guild, deliver and to set you up for eternal glory.

Don’t give up what you have received from Him to your daily experiences in live. You are more than what you going through, and God is taking you to His place of testimony of joy and establishment as He did for David. The devil is busy distracting believers every day and we should not give in to such distractions.

Did you now that disappointment is a distraction that robs believers of their God given joy and celebration? Did you know that fear; delays, denials, sufferings, satanic wickedness, lack, sickness, loneliness, frustrations and failure are all instruments of satanic distractions?

When you touch God, God will touch you back, transforming and positioning you for His glory. Plant that in your mind and in your spirit and keep moving on. When men reject you as you walk with God, He takes you up to show men His strength and ability to do amazing things.

This was David’s confession and you are getting there “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up”. Psalms 27:10 “In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion” Psalm 71:1. God will not leave you the same. The God who testifies of what He did for David will also testify of you before men.
