ACCORDING TO THE WORDS OF ELISHA (5)

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you, do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips, meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9. Joshua was commanded to believe the written word, to meditate on it, not to let leave his lips, but to speak it all times. he was promised the result of success and prosperity, and he did have both.

Through the revelations of the word of God in the scriptures, we have come to know Jesus Christ as the Son of God, we have accepted Him as our only Lord and Savior, we have believed in Him and decided to follow Him; we have read His words and seen the positive effects of those words in the situations they were meant to address, we have seen His power, and we will receive His promised miracles in our lives. he will not fail us.

Don’t be scared, speak the word of God, speak to the situation, keep on speaking, addressing them as they come, speak in faith, don't be defeated by the delays or the slow manifestation; do not be dismayed by the reactions from men, the insults, the foul languages and the humiliating remarks by men. The word of God you speak will manifest the purpose of God in your life; will manifest the plans of God for your life, and will confirm the blessings and the goodness of God.

“But the righteousness that is by faith says, do not say in your heart, Who will ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down or who will descend into the deep? that is, to bring Christ up from the dead. But what does it say? The word is near you, it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim. If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:6-13

The book of Romans says the word is in our heart and we should speak it with our lips. The word that will give you peace is in your heart, speak it; the word that will ensure your deliverance is in your heart, speak it out; the word that will give you healing and health is in your heart, speak it out; the word that will ensure you are blessed is in your heart, speak it out; the word that will be the best in the situations is in your heart, speak it out. The word of God you speak with faith is powerful enough to bring changes. it is powerful enough to send the devil running, it is powerful enough to keep the demons bound, and it is powerful enough to keep you motivated, to enable overcome depression and shame, overcome failure and wickedness.

The word of God is true and His word in your heart, when spoken, is powerful. Joshua was told to be courageous in the word of God, not with weapons or men of war; he was told to careful to obey all not some of the word; he was told the word is God’s law; is God’s command, and is God’s instruction that will ensure success if he keeps and followed them. He was told not to turn from it to the right or to the left irrespective of the situation, of the challenges, and the threats from the enemies. He was told to make use of it wherever he goes. He was told to keep these words always on his lips, to meditate on it day and night, and to do everything it says. The word of the Lord was Joshua’s guide to success and it can be yours also.
