“The same thing is true of the words I speak, that goes out of my mouth. They will not return to me empty. They make the things happen that I want to happen, they accomplish what I desire and purpose and they succeed in doing what I send them to do. So you will go out with joy and be led out in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees in the fields will clap their hands, the earth rejoices at God’s restoration of creation. Large cypress trees will grow where thornbushes were. Myrtle trees will grow where weeds were. These things will be a reminder of the Lord’s promise and this reminder will never be destroyed, for an eternal sign that will not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:11-13

Situations in our lives over the years tell us of impossibilities; reminds us of our of failures and the failures of others; shows us our weaknesses, our lacks, the pains we suffer, the humiliations, the shame and the closed doors to our dreams and desires in life but the word of God speaks of things that are possible, things that we can get, things that will come to pass despite delays and the words and knowledge of en, it also speaks even on those things that our situations tell us are impossible; the word of God shows us the things that had been done to others and will be done to and for us; the word of God gives us the peace that our situations had destroyed, the word of God gives us the hope that we have lost in life due to our pains and endless struggles and the word of God will be proven in our lives to be true by the power of Him who speaks.

Coming to God through Christ Jesus is the best assurance we can have in following God that He will bring His words to pass in our lives; believing in Christ Jesus and in His words are the next assurance to show that we are true with and in Him; obeying His words and following His given instructions is another assurance that we will see the result of the word and receive the reward He had purposed in those words. God said, despite the situation, despite the delays, despite the pains and suffering, despite the humiliations and shame, despite the words of evil people that are contrary to your desires, your dreams, your efforts, and what you are physically and spiritually qualified for, you will definitely go out with joy and you be led out in peace even where there had been no peace before and there had been no way for you. The mountains that make you feel fearful and dreadful, the hills which make things impossible even when you try your very best will burst into song before you, praising your God who had enabled you to overcome, and all the trees in the fields which had been waiting and watching will clap their hands because of the successes that you will have in overcoming the impossibilities, and the earth rejoices at God’s restoration of you, of your life and of the things He had destined for you.

The restoration of God will bring back the things that had been stolen from you and in you; the physical and spiritual things that you have lost over the years; it will cause to grow in its rightful place and time the things which had been stunted because of long years of delays, long years of frustrations, incessant disappointments, discouragement, and the associated shame. He said large cypress trees will grow where thornbushes were, taking out that which is bad and replacing with that which is good; myrtle trees will grow where weeds were bearing fruits that weeds cannot and will not kill or destroy. These things will be a reminder of the Lord’s promise, this reminder will never be destroyed. When it was time to restore Abraham, God spoke through the angels to remind him and God is speaking to remind you of His words concerning you despite the odds you see and know. “The men asked Abraham, where is your wife Sarah? There in the tent said Abraham. Then the Lord said, I will certainly return to you about this time a year from now or in due time. At that time your wife Sarah will have a son. Sarah was listening at the entrance of the tent which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were very old. Since Sarah was past the age when women normally have children,” Genesis 18:9-11.
